Q: Will these fit my Honda Shadow Vt750ca?

Yes, they are compatibel with your Honda Shadow Vt750ca.

Q: Will the motorcycle saddelbags get too close to the exhaust and melt?

If the saddle bags touch the exhaust they WILL melt at point of contact. I used a piece of sheet metal as heat dissipation. this seemed to work. I say seems as the patch of saddle bag that would be touching is covered by the metal. There is no indication of heatness/burn through on the inside.

Q: Will they fit 2004 VTX1300c?

It needs a rear seat cushion. Please make sure a minimum of 2'' clearance from bags to exhaust and place it under the rear seat. And you might need to adjust the position of the turn signals. Please check it.
