Yes it's a very good pillow when you're sitting in your recliner the only thing it gets warm around your neck sometimes otherwise it's a great pillow I'm going to use mine when I'm driving. Because I have neck issues also I had neck surgery

I don't know but I think the cover is washabe. The one shown is one side and the other side is hideous yellow.
