How to extend and improve the usefulness of Pilot RPII
I love the fine line of this pen!! What I did not like was the fiber tip wearing down before the ink ran out, so I re-engineered the tip. I first used fine needle nosed pliers to pull the metal tip out of the plastic nose. I found I could not push the tip of the fiber feed farther out in the metal tip, so I slid it back in. Thwarted in that so far, I used a Smiths diamond sharpener COARSE SIDE to remove 0.5 mm of metal barrel at 45 degrees circumferentally with light circular rolling motion at the tip. See shorter tipped pen, now reprofiled successfully 5 times. Additional benefit is an even finer tip, see point, that draws well. I used the needle nosed pliers to pull out the top cap at end of barrel, and loaded between 4 and 36 drops of Noodles dark blue ink, when the ink ran low. I have a better writing pen that lasts 10 times as long now. Hope you enjoy this mod. Hint.. If you put too many drops of ink in the barrel, it will drip out the pressure hole in the plastic nose. Just wipe with a paper towel and write 1 meter of line. I have had no leaks with 3,000 m of altitude change. Hope this helps.... 😁

My Favorite Fine Felt Tip Pen
The Pilot Razor Point II is my favorite fine felt tip pen. The tip is .2mm which for me is the perfect diameter. The traditional packs of varied felt tip pen widths by Prismacolor or Staedtler usually are in odd numbers - .1mm, .3mm, .5mm, etc. The .2mm provides much more precision and allows for smaller writing than .3mm, but is sturdier and holds up better over time than .1mm.I read the other reviews and think it's important to point out once again that this is a felt tip pen. Felt tips and ballpoints write very differently. If you're heavy-handed and bear down hard on the writing surface, you're going to crush a felt tip, and would probably be better-suited to write with a ballpoint pen. Some other things to note... the pen ink is not waterproof. If your paper gets wet, the ink will run. It doesn't write well on glossy surfaces and will definitely rub off if you write on glossy paper, vinyl, or plastic. I've found that the Pilot Razor Point II performs best on acid-free sketch paper (see image attached).

Best pen ever!
This pen writes so smooth. It's dark and thin. It doesn't smudge or bleed through. I'm going to throw all my other pens away!

Great Acquisition.
I usually don't use these type of pens mostly because they tend to bleed through the paper, or smear when you pass a highlighter over it. However, i gave these a try and so far, im enjoying the experience. As someone who loves pens, ill put this in my top 3 without a doubt.Pros:- This pen does not bleed through paper.- You can highlight it right after using it, and it won't smear (95% of the times).- Smooth writing experienceCons:- A bit uncomfortable after writing for an extended period of time. The only reason I'm rating this a 4/5, its just because it tends to get uncomfortable to write with after an extended period of time. The bottom "ledge" of the pen makes it uncomfortable to write with after a while.Other than that, its a great purchase that i strongly recommend and will continue to use daily.

What a great writing experience!
This was my first time trying a marker pen and I'm very satisfied. Unlike what another review states, these are indeed a box of 12 pens. I've gone through many favorite pens over the years and had finally settled on uni-ball Vision needle pens, but these how now replaced those. The writing is smooth and even. They feel good in my hand, and encourage me to use a light touch, which lessons cramping after long writing sessions. My only criticism is that I ruined two of the pens in the first couple weeks because I was pressing too hard and the tip got pressed into the body of the pen so they no longer write. Once I realized what I was doing, I've been using the third for over a month now, remembering to touch lightly, and have had no further issues. They are great for daily use and I never leave the house without one in my pocket. However, I do also carry a simple ballpoint pen for writing checks and contracts as these just don't feel right for that purpose. They would work fine I imagine--it's more a mental block than a practical reason--but they feel a little bold and perhaps childish for formal things.

Not 0.2mm, but I've got weird pen standards
I have a bit of a pen obsession, and lately, my target has been fineliners. I saw these and thought, "Wow, 0.2mm?!" and eagerly awaited their arrival. I can't say with confidence that these are actually 0.2mm - when compared to other fineliners I own, they're hardly thinner. I recently ordered Tombow Twintone pens and those, at 0.3mm, seem much more fine than these pens. And don't get me wrong!! I love Pilot pens - these ones specifically are smooth and comfy. To me, there's no such thing as too many pens, especially black ink pens that can go in the car, in my girlfriend's wallet - you get it. But I'm a stickler when it comes to pens - and that's all this is, nitpicking!! Functionally theres nothing wrong, packaging was great, I love the shimmery effect of the actual pen!!

Not .2 mm
I bought these pens as an alternative to Sakura Micron 005 which is .2 mm. The description on the Pilot pens says .20 mm but the lines drawn are definitively thicker than the Sakura Micron pens. These pens also tend to smear.I would not buy these again.

and it's nice to now that it not only looks nice and ...
This pen writes so well, and it makes delicate writing look neat and professional. I use this to take notes are school (university), and to write in cards (birthday). It's so versatile, and it's nice to now that it not only looks nice and has a smooth small tip, but it'll last long cause it's like a felt tip. This is such a staple product- I highly recommend.
