Best Zinc Carnosine for over a year but had to ...
Expensive but worth it. I used Drs. Best Zinc Carnosine for over a year but had to order Pure Encapsulations Peptic Care ZC instead when Doctors brand was on backorder. Glad this happened because I can tell a difference in the products. Expensive but I will continue on it because I can tell that my symptoms are better controlled. Interesting Footnote: I am able to take only 1 Peptic Care tablet per day to get relief whereas it took 2 of Doctors Best, so it doesn't end up being as painfully expensive as it seems. (I take other Pure Encapsulations supplements and have been impressed with every one of them. Brand was originally recommended to me by holistic MD).

Small pills easy to swallow, no stomach pain as long as you eat with food. So far so good I'll update later later.UPDATE. These are still taken daily. I have no complaints. I'm taking to assist in healing my guy and honestly idk if it's just this supplement or a combination of my lifestyle but I dont have flare ups.

Zinc for immunity. With carnosine for gut healing
Product as expected. This is reported in well being journal March/April 2019 edition as successful to heal gut issues. Needed the zinc anyway. In capsule form which helps it to fully dissolve and then body to process.

made GERD worse, try a lower dose?
Very surprised that this supplement actually made my GERD worse. I had been taking a much lower dose of zinc carnisine that I found at Whole Foods while I was waiting for this to arrive, and though I had to take the other brand several times a day the first 2 days the 3rd day I hardly took it at all. It really relieved my GERD (I'm battling SIBO which is causing the GERD to flare). I thought this would be more economical since it is a higher dose, but when I took it last night at dinner my GERD actually felt much worse and I woke up with GERD this morning as well. Not sure if it's too high a dose or what but I will probably go back to the other brand (Acid Ease).
