This game is ingenious!! What other game makes math so much fun for children and adults. I take this game to an assisted living home once a month. All the residents fight to play as well as their grandchildren, I highly recommend this game for anybody’s elderly mom or dad as it is so important to keep their brains stimulated.I was very impressed with the quality of the game; the box is made of natural wood and the numbers are printed very clearly and easy to read. 2 extra dice are included, which can come in handy at times. The box the game comes in has a beautiful design! In our house, we are all hooked on this game!!!

My friend had a single Shut The Box game and I liked it so much, I bought this one so more could play and everybody had their own numbers and dice (good in this pandemic!). I was shocked when I took it out of the box at how small it is. Yes, it will still operate like the big game, I was just hoping for a bigger size. That 's the only reason for my 4 and not 5 star review.

I bought this game for my classroom as a way to keep kids occupied after lunch when weather prevented us from going outside. The game is simple to learn, a quick game, and four can play at once. The construction was good and the quality of the wood and the finish is excellent.

First of all, the game board, the dice, and the packaging are just lovely. The playing field, the inner square, is small but quite useable. I'm pleased that the dice don't bounce off the table when we play. I bought it to play with my 6 YO grandson who is learning math facts. He easily mastered the game using addition. We quickly implemented house rules so we could add, subtract, multiple, and divide. We also take turns with the game ending when each player has to pass on the same round. It doesn't feel like math practice, just a fun game. I love that it is adaptable.

My husband who isn't a game player, ordered this game from an overpriced company. He loves this game. Brings it out every chance he can. Problem was, it only allowed for four players. I ordered this one to allow more of us to play. This is game board definitely a few steps down but a lot less than what he paid. Made inexpensively but still gets the game play on. Works as an extension or for travel.
