Even though several of these boxes are missing magnets, or simply will not close, I'm rating everything but the adhesion as 5 stars. 53% of the order will not close. Still, they will work for what I am using them for: shipping with branded shipping tape to keep them closed when shipping. If you need all of your boxes to fasten properly, I suggest ordering an extra set and then returning those which do not fasten. The boxes are heavyweight, sturdy, and very pretty. They are not glossy black, nor matte. I'd call it a flat black. I'll probably order some more of these to use in my closet to store things that are not used ofter. All in all, I am happy with this purchase only because I did not need the magnets to work, but if you DO need the magnets to work, you may need to order an additional set.

These boxes are very sturdy and I like the magnet close. They are folded when you receive them, so open them and close the lid and the boxes take shape. I am very please with this purchase. Quick service.

I love these boxes - they are top quality. However, the description did not say they were glossy. The pictures did not show it either. I ordered to use for handpainted bridesmaid boxes and paint does not adhere. I wasted one box trying to find a solution but nothing has worked [ aside from sanding the gloss ] I'm hoping the vendor will work with me so I can get what I wanted and fill my wedding order. The boxes I rec'd were not those pictured.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED in these. They are very expensive but the size was what I was looking for to fill with gifts. But they arrived, have like rub marks on the boxes that have removed the shine. It looks like it’s been all scraped up despite having papers between the flat boxes. On top of them looking a mess, the magnets were so weak that the boxes would not stay closed. I’m returning them. They had so much potential but they just don’t work.

These definitely exceeded my expectations! They were sturdy, and I love the magnetic closing. I used these as my bridesmaid gift boxes, and I feel like they we’re perfect for that! I would definitely buy these again in the future.

These boxes are what I was looking for all this time. The size, sturdiness, everything is more than I expected. I plan to use these as gift boxes and they will work great. I will definitely be purchasing more

Poor boxes: spotty, not square, horrible adhesive that does not hold! I would NOT buy these again! On top of that, one case contained black boxes with white labels stuck on the middle of the inside lids! Did not have time to wait for a new order so I had to remove the white labels and remove the residual adhesive with nail polish remover! I needed so many boxes that I had to order another brand as well. The other brand cost more and was of better quality.
