Good taste

I usually don’t buy Starbucks coffee at either their retail stores or online however I became so frustrated with Amazon peddling coffees as dark roast when in fact, they were medium roast. So with my past experience with Starbucks, I bought French roast coffee and sure enough. It’s dark roast beans are glistening they’re oily and the coffee taste good. I had gone through five different coffees, whole beans saying that they were dark roast and went. In fact they were not they were medium roast. I knew that Starbucks would be a true dark roast coffee and it is. Amazon used to sell a dark roast under their own label. It was whole bean. The price was phenomenal and it was a great dark rose coffee, but they discontinued it for some stupid reason so I’ve been on a quest ever since so caveat emptor.

Great price compared to supermarkets or Starbucks cafes; Arrived in one day, absolutely fresh and apparently vacuum sealed. We grind our beans ourselves for added freshness and strength. Vive la difference! Will order the bigger size next time, now that we know they're not "stale" as some writers found (perhaps referring to ground beans or another type other than French roast, as the reviews seem to combine all types rather than separating by type). Recommended, 5*****stars.

Great French Roast beans at a great price!

I purchased 6 bags of Starbucks whole bean coffee 28 ounces each. 1 bag expires in 3 months and the other 5 expires in 5 months. Metallic taste worst coffee I ever had. I opened the bag that expired in 5 months and it’s horrible. I tried returning but says I can’t. Do not buy!! I will purchase my coffee from Starbucks store in person.

Dark and yummy. You can tell it's very fresh, because of the oil content while in the grinder
