Great tool for mixing thinset , drywall mud and paint

I’m mixing mortar and laying cement board prior to tiling. The torque of this drill mixes (small to medium) batches of Mortar with ease. Although I am reluctant to mix a large batch (as I don’t want to burn out the motor), for what I’m doing, this is a terrific drill.

Great upgrade after using a larger hammer drill on slow drill mode to mix things for years. Lots of torque, and well constructed.

Everybody talking about how much power it has.....I think it pretty weak. I am using it to mix up thinset and the motor slows down a lot, but to be honest I kind of like it because I can tell how thick it is. Reverse switch is easy to use, the balance of the tool is pretty good, its a lot smaller than I expected, quality seems great. The variable speed doesn't work that well it almost feels like it shifts gears and it's hard to hold it at a medium/high speed but low and high is fine. Don't regret my purchase but expected more power.

I'd buy this again if I needed another 1/2 drill. This is a beast.

This drill has been used at least 5 days a week for the past year and half. This can easily handle mixing 30+ bags of thinset mortar a day.
