I love Saucony's and own quite a few pairs of various styles. Some clonky, yet comfortable in a supportive way, some funky, and some just plain ugly - green Saucony Jazz shoes anyone? I love them all for their look and, most importantly, for their comfort and support.I first spotted the Saucony Triumph ISO on an ad on Facebook of all places. I loved the look of the speckled upper with the cute, pastel sole. I searched on Amazon and happened upon a pair of them in MY SIZE, my actual sneaker size, on Warehouse Deals for less than half the original price due to medium scuffs on the soles. For that price, 20 bucks!!!!, I gave them a shot. The shoes arrived today. They look just as pictured, colors are quite accurate in the photos. Very cute mint green soles with white uppers with lots of grayish speckles. LOVE the look of these! They are very lightweight, probably the lightest sneaker I've ever owned.There is a amazing insole, something I usually remove and replace with a more supportive insole, but the ones in these shoes are perfect, very soft, yet supportive and almost bouncy. I was worried that the collar on the back of the shoe would not be comfortable because of the lack of padding like in most sneakers. I was wrong. This shoe envelopes your foot and hugs it like a fluffy blanky on a cold, damp, winter day. Yes, they are THAT amazing. They give my feet energy and bounce. They are snug in all the right ways.My normal to wide foot is hugged so perfectly it doesn't want the day to end, not too tight at all for a regular width (I've noticed Saucony's tend to run a bit wider than average though, which is terrific for those of us who want more options when our foot is on the wider side of average). I have plantar fasciitis that comes and goes, as well as Achilles tendinitis that is getting much better, not to mention a high arch. I needed a supportive shoe that would not aggravate either of those issues. Just walking around the house tonight on hard floors, my foot felt completely supported, from toe to heel. I'm not sure how to describe the difference between this shoe and others I have, but it just feels comfortable and supportive without looking like a mall-walking granny shoe.I will update after I've worn the shoes for a week or two if I'm any less impressed. If the shoes feel as good as they do on day one, I'll be buying a few more colors in this style. I think I have found my dream shoe!
