GEAR AID Seam Grip SIL Silicone Sealant for Silnylon Tents and Tarps

This proved useless for fixing cuts in silicone. It does not bind with the silicone, and so didn't serve the purpose I got it for, fixing a leak in a water bladder. However, it's useful for everything else. I've used it to apply a protective coating around a screw under my table that was brushing against my leg, and to add drops to a bag's shoulder handle, making the handle grippier on my shoulder.

I used this to seal my tent. Worked perfectly but it definitely took a awhile. I think it was worth the savings instead of having the manufacturer seal the tent for me. I also didn't have any issue with the seams sticking to each other once I put the tent back in its stuff sack. No leaks so far after a year of use (4 trips). I would also recommend a few dots of this on the bottom of a sleeping pad to prevent sliding on the tent floor.

This stuff is great. Works as advertised. I used it to fix my partners snowboard pants that had a rip. It worked perfectly. Also used it on our 4 year olds snowboots that had one velcro piece coming off. Again, worked perfect and holding strong. Will buy again.

Used this for waterproof boots which we’re starting to come apart at the sole and upper join. Works well , has a shiny finish
