I recently upgraded to the Bosch BCH86HYGGB Serie 6 ProHygienic Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, and it has exceeded my expectations.Pros:Strong Suction Power: Effectively cleans both carpets and hard floors.Lightweight Design: Easy to maneuver around furniture and into tight spaces.Long Battery Life: Provides up to 60 minutes of runtime on a full charge.Hygienic Filter System: Features a triple filtration system for cleaner exhaust air.Easy Maintenance: The filter is easy to clean without the need for washing.Cons:Stability: The vacuum can be top-heavy and may tip over if not properly positioned when not in use.Height: Some users may find it slightly tall, making it challenging to clean under low furniture without moving items.Overall, the Bosch BCH86HYGGB offers excellent performance, convenience, and value. Really good hoover. Very powerful. It has 3 settings. I only use on the 2nd as the power is really strong. Can be used on both hard flooring and carpet. The only thing is, I can't do the edges with this as there are no attachments. It's just an upright hoover. My reason for purchasing was to use around the dinner table as mu little one always makes a mess. But I now use it for everything and use my cordless shark to do the edges with the attachment nozzle. But we'll worth the money! Does take along time to charge (4/5hrs) but lasts a good 4 days, 3x a day.

Pros -Sturdy vacuum cleaner. Easy to empty the filter and vacuum easy to charge.The suction is also very good.Cons - It is not as manoeuvrable as I expected and feels quite heavy for a slimline product. If you you have arthritic hands this may be a problem

Why did you choose this product over others?:Fantastic quality : hoovers a treat. Achilles heel - not very good at corners and switch can be prone to playing up after a year but, if looked after, should carry on doing a wonderful job.

I have always used a 'traditional upright vaccum cleaner'. Decided that I would try a cordless vaccum cleaner for a change. It arrived quickly and very well packaged.I have a mixture of hard flooring and carpeting. It copes well with both, and to me, the suction feels powerful, especially on carpets.Its lightweight, manouvres well and easy to use. It also looks good!!Its battery life has so far been more than adequate and recharging is easy.

Although light to carry it is heavy to move over carpets even with the 3 speeds. It was difficult to use and the 'floor brush' was not very flexible to turn into smaller spaces. The suction is good and it is well made - easy to take the dust container out but messy when taking the filter out to empty. It maybe that I am an older person and so find it difficult but have had no difficulty before with vacuums - infact I am still using a cheap one which the Bosch was going to replace. Thisd is why only 3 stars

If you own a caravan or motorhome, the Bosch BBH6POWGB Series 6 Athlet ProPower Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner may be the best vacuum on the market. It's a Bosch, so it is well made and works perfectly. But for my circumstances, the killer features are that it is free-standing, rather than requiring a charging base-station. The free-standing action is very positive. There is no ambiguity as to when the vac is 'parked'. The cleaning head is very robust, with proper rubber wheels underneath, so the vac tracks across wooden floors very positively, and does not skate around, like cheaper vacs with hard plastic wheels do. By not having to lug the vac back to a charging base to recharge it, you can just plug it in to the closest wall socket. The barrel connector is at the base of the slim handle section. Just before the main machine body. So no bending over to plug the charger in. But the reason why I say this could be the best vacuum for motorhomes and caravans, is because the machine comes packaged in three sections, the handle section, the main machine body, and the brush head. But unlike every similar machine I looked at, these three sections connect using two large, round, spring-loaded buttons. meaning that the machine can split back down into three sections again for storage. The three sections connect via a sort of USB-A plug. There is no physical cable joining the three sections. You could store the three components of this vacumn cleaner, in three different locations in a caravan, and only click them back together when you need to use the vacumn cleaner. It is a genius solution. I am almost tempted to say that whoever designed this vacumn cleaner, owns a caravan themselves. Recommended.

CONS:Quite overpriced.doesn't suck up as well as the corded ones.has a small dust bin.quite heavy so not easy to manuvre especially in case of joint issues.Battery lasts ling enough to clean a 1 bedroom flat at speed 3 but wouldn't last long enough for bigger properties.PROS:No cord that gets tangled or has to be unplugged depending on where you clean.Very smart looking and stands up by itself.Quieter than most corded models I've used before.
