basic quality
I used in a 4K TV and it didn't help at all. it would work great in a 1080P TV. I mean it works but don't expect it to make it look not even close to 1080P quality. I would say it helped 5%

Works perfectly for Wii
Using our old Nintendo Wii for the grandkids and this HDMI adapter made the install so very easy with nice clean graphics (as good as the Wii can provide). A bonus was that the sound was carried via HDMI so no need to run separate audio cables.

Works great for mariokart
Way better than the generic adapters. If your using the AV ports and switch to this it is a world better because you can’t output to 480p instead of 480i. Mariokart honestly looked like I was playing on an emulator with the clarity and deflicker turned off via homebrew.

Makes The Wii's Resolution A Nice 480p!
Amazing! Makes Wind Waker on the Wii look so much clearer! Works well with the Wii and does unlock the 480p option. Would recommend!

Probably the best Wii to HDMI solution there is out there. It's worth the few extra bucks.
I had one of the cheaper HDMI adapters before this, and the jump in quality from those generic units to this one is pretty great. Colors are more balanced and the extra tearing/dithering that those units can have doesn't seem to exist. It also does not stretch the image to 16:9, which for me is a good thing because my display is capable of that on it's own, and I like to have as "raw" an image coming from the console as possible but your mileage may vary on that feature. I should note that this adapter DOES NOT upscale to 1080p, it just takes the Wii's analogue 480i/p signal and converts it to digital HDMI. Combine this with a homebrew-capable Wii, enable the 480p pixel fix, disable flicker filters via Priiloader/USBLoaderGX/Nintendont and I'd say the image quality is very impressive for an adapter under 15 bucks. As far as I've seen, this is the best quality you're going to get out of the Wii if you're stuck with a TV that just has HDMI ports, unless you want to drop the cash on a WiiDual or HD RetroVision component cables and a decent component to HDMI converter. I also like the cable-into-cable design, it's easier to work with if your space is limited than just having a rectangular box on the back of your system that you have to account for. Just spend the extra few bucks and pick this adapter up, there's also solid comparisons featuring this adapter on YouTube if you'd like to see for yourself. I'd like to see this company branch out and maybe make HDMI adapters for the PS2 and original Xbox, as well.

No signal, so it did nothing for me.
I bought this adapter because I forgot that I had already bought a different, powered adapter several months ago and stuck in the cabinet. I found that when I went to hook up the Wii to try this adapter. I am glad that I forgot buying the powered adapter because that one works, this one doesn't. I plugged this into the Wii and the HDMI input on the television. The blue light on the adapter comes on when I turn on the Wii, so evidently some sort of power is getting to it,, but the TV simply says "no signal." I tried it with the powered adapter I forgot I had bought, and that worked fine. I tried this one again to make sure, but it still did no work. No signal. I assume since the powered one works that maybe the Wii itself, with no help from this adapter, can't push the HD signal? I don't know, I just know the powered one (2 Port RCA/AV to HDMI Converter) works like a charm, and has a second input so you can use it to connect two old things to an HDMI TV. That one is 3 times the price of this one, though, so I guess thinking an 8 dollar adapter was going to do what a 30 dollar adapter does was just silly.

Just Right👏🏼
Really great if you want some crispness to your Wii’s visuals. Pretty easy to use, plug and play action. There’s no changes to the colors or quality drop. Also, the audio sounds great. Would recommend if you don’t want to use av cables anymore.

It does the job just make sure you change the Wii settings to match the output aspect of your TV

You wouldn't get the best quality possible, but actually it's very good, one of the best options.
