I have been using my t460 for 4 months now. I am absolutely happy with it. I do not think that there is a better bang for your buck than this package. Perfect size workstation not too heavy not too small. Does not overheat. great backlit keyboard. I am doing all of my online college on it. I have imported, edited and rendered multiple 45 min plus videos. I can have XAI, Chatgpt, and Deepseek and 10 browser windows open all at once and watch YouTube videos simultaneously. I dare you to show me a better deal I will continue to purchase fromSKY ELECTRONIC TECH INC. Battery lasts 8+ hours Boot up is less an a minute. great all around laptop and ooks professional. Best of all it is upgradeable down the road if you want.

The media could not be loaded. Update:Got my replacement in a timely manner. It arrived looking clean and almost new like the previous one.I noticed it had a weird bump out on the back. I turned it over and realized that it had a different battery, and I assumed it was an aftermarket replacement. Not a good start.Plugged it in and went through windows setup which only took a few minutes. When I got into the desktop, I checked and saw an x symbol in the battery logo on the system tray. Clicked on that and it said no battery present!I returned the last one because one of the two internal batteries was not charging. The replacement was just plain worse, not even able to detect the batteries. As soon as I unplugged it from the wall the laptop would die.Definitely skip these. Quality control is terrible.*Original review below*This computer arrived looking clean and almost new. Windows setup was smooth if a bit janky because they recommended setting up as a local account to avoid a weird stall in the process after trying to log in. After install I was able to log in to my MS account no problem. However, after being plugged in for now almost 36 hours, one of the batteries (for those that don't know this particular Lenovo model has two internal batteries) will not take a charge. It stays at 37% or 38% percent. This battery appears defective and I don't think is even being allowed to charge/discharge by the BMS since when unplugged briefly the second battery was draining fast. I will give this one more try - I requested a direct replacement - and I will update this review when I get a chance to try it.When getting ready to return it, this computer also doesn't come with a recovery partition I found out, because I cannot reset it using the built in reset function - so I will need to configure a Windows install USB to clean it up for return. Again, a little janky, but at the price I suppose it's understandable.

I am writing this in March 2024. I have had the computer for about a month. It is anexcellent value for a business user.As configured at the time of purchase, 16g Ram 512 g ssd, it runs great on Windows 10 Pro.The screen is bright and visible, and the sound is find for streaming audio and video calls.My uses are business and internet access, with a little youtube and netflix thrown in. It is well up to those tasks.Even more important is the durability. Of special significance is the keyboard. These days, even high end laptops have "chicklet" type keys which do not stand up to hard use. This device is a Thinkpad, with the best quality keyboard you can buy!! I've thrashed several lesser machines due to my hard use, but This one is easy to feel and the button action is superb.I frankly could afford a more expensive machine, but I wouldn't want it because this one will do what I need to accomplish with reliability and endurance.One con is that it won't upgrade to Windows 11 later when support ends for 10. I plan to convert it to Linux at that time and keep on going till I drop. It will probably outlast me.

Ordered it for installing Linux for a personal project. Tested with CentOS, Rocky Linux, Arch Linux, Ubuntu 20.04.2, SUSE Tumbleweed. The worst is Arch Linux, what a POG it is, had to change code for un-encrypted disk during install. After install, there was no vim, promptly deleted it. CentOS said no wifi device after install. SUSE's KDE plasma desktop looks sweet but it was keep going to hibernate, and ssh access was breaking. I tried many things to prevent it but didn't work. Finally went back to Ubuntu 20.04.2, working perfectly. I needed ssh access all the time without the laptop going back to sleep, Ubuntu works perfectly by default., there was no need to muck around with WakeOnLan etc. mdns (avahi) also works out of the box in Ubuntu. Good machine.

Laptop works the way it should and we are able to get done what we need to with it.

I bought the laptop (ThinkPad T460, i5-6300U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro) in "acceptable condition".The laptop was not properly inspected when it shipped out. The bottom screws were loose and the laptop was not fully shut down. The laptop is covered by a skin but it was not properly put on and the skin came peeling off in the box. The screen does have some light and deep scratches but not noticeable in dark lighting. Overall I think the condition of this laptop is in fair condition.On the bright side, this laptop works great. Finger scanner works, the laptop boots up, and track pad/point works. My battery is alright, I need to use battery saving most of the time. As long you don't mind how your laptop looks the "acceptable condition" will work fine.

This machine came in a timely manner, all the specs are to be true. I got more than i was anticipating, i got a backlite keyboard and higher resolution screen which I really wanted too. This laptop is a beast!! and what better laptop but a thinkpad, Fast, clean and built like a tank, refurbished well and taken care. Im definitely coming back to this company for my next laptop purchase. Kudos to this company for sending me such a awesome refurbished product!!
