Great Value
It was difficult to find monitor with a higher refresh rate that has two display ports in addition to two HDMI ports. This allows my wife to use the same monitor for gaming and her WFH setup. My first flat screen monitor was a Sceptre in 2008. It was exciting making the transition from a CRT. The desk space I saved!!!Anyways, about a year in, the panel kicked the bucket. I emailed Sceptre and got an RMA number, was given instructions about how to ship it to them. Not long after, I received a brand new panel. That one lasted me for years until I started working out of school. My first dual screen monitor setup was with another Sceptre. That one lasted another 8 years or so before I gave it to a friend.I was worried about quality and customer service about this unknown name at the time. Well I have to say, they got my respect after all that.I decided to give this monitor a shot for my wife's main screen and I'm really impressed. The Ui is much better than on my $800 Samsung. The colors look great and the screen is bright. Buttery smooth at 165hz. I can safely say that Sceptre is still doing well after all these years. I even see them at Costco these days, so they must be doing it right still.

For a $200 Monitor with scattered reviews, this is incredible!
I will say, I've only had this for a day so far, but I will update this if anything changes.I got this monitor because I was looking for an upgrade from some old 1080p 60hz monitors, and goodness this is amazing! It's big, and I think anyone can discover that from the description alone, coming in at a giant (in my eyes) 27 inches. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR and smooth on the eyes, as you'd expect a 165hz monitor to be. It's bright and colorful, although more contrasty than my old monitors, honestly, and I think that's much more color accurate too since everything seems a tiny bit washed out on my old ones. It might be not perfect, but it has plenty of settings to adjust the look of things.I myself play some games in my free time and edit videos for a living, and this works amazing for that. The colors are great, sharp, and all around it is perfect for my needs. There are probably better monitors for both options I listed, absolutely. But for only $200, you get a giant screen, contrast-y colors, and a great, fast display for playing games.A lot of reviews say there are blemishes and dead pixels on arrival. I scanned my monitor up and down and haven't seen a single flaw. At this point, even if there are, I don't think I'll notice them because they must be SUBTLE!The only tiny issue I've noticed is the viewing angle isn't the best. Now, I will say, they are definitely still good. For a screen this large on an uncurved display, yeah, I don't expect them to be much better. From me looking at my monitor almost entirely from the side, I still can read everything fine, it just gets a bit dark :)Overall it's great, and I couldn't ask for better, to be honest! For something that doesn't reach too deep into my pocket, and hopefully will last me a few years at least, I am definitely happy!

Great monitor for the price
Loving the size of the monitor. Graphics look great and after having it for a year it’s held up well. Btw you can only get the full 144hz if you use a special plug for pc. it only does 120hz for consoles, but I can’t seem to get that working on my Xbox series x. The lights on the back are super cool but sadly they turn off when the monitor is not in use. One defect I noticed is that a small area of my screen has defective pixels. It’s about a 1 inch oval that shows blue whenever my screen is black. It’s not very noticeable and I can’t tell when running a game with colors. It really only appears when I’m watching a dark movie but it’s not that big a deal, probably just a defect that’s only applicable to mine. Great monitor tho would buy again

Great Monitors, Only one issue so far
Bought 3 of these monitors in Sept. 2021 for WFH office setup. Use daily for most of my work and supports multiple computers via the numerous outputs on the backs. Monitors are decent, but the sound is below quality (You're buying a monitor, not a tv so don't expect theater sound).Bought a second set of 3 for my wife in Jan. 2022 for her WFH setup. So we have 6 total. My only issue thus far has been that one of the monitors developed a lined flicker over HDMI. Yes I tested the cables and the host, neither of those is the issue. It started suddenly and won't go away. Now time to see if Sceptre honors their 3 year warranty.I kept the boxes and the receipts for all the units. Will post back here regarding the warranty experience.UPDATE: Heard back from warranty team - "These units only come with a one(1) year warranty, so your request cannot be processed."I swear that one of the reasons I bought these was that the amazon post showed a three (3) year warranty from the vendor. I don't purchase extended service plans as they generally aren't worth the paper they are printed on. I guess I'll tear into the unit and fix the issue myself, since the vendor denies the warranty period. Amazon is also no longer showing the warranty information, but is pointing to the vendor. Wishing I had taken a screenshot now......

Excellent display
Cheap, good colors (shockingly better than my ultra wide Samsung panel, and its not even close) 120 hz, what's not to like?120 hz mode doesn't not work with Xbox series x/s due to Microsofts poor compatibility. Not scepters fault.

Best Monitor under 200
Update: It has been almost 3 years since purchase and there have been no real issues or dead pixels.Mine arrived without any quality control issues and runs great at 1440p 165hz. It has above average color, better-than-nothing speakers, and minor ghosting but I really don't notice it in-game. It has a minor backlight imbalance that's only noticeable when the screen is black & in a dark room, and the standby function is annoying. Not any customization with the RGB on the back. But, for under $200 USD, hell yeah.
