I like this, but I do not “love” it. It does a great job as moisturizing and it does have a cooling effect. I have sensitive skin and the cooking can be “stingy”. If you’re in the sun, it can lead to further stinging sensation. The smell reminds me of Vicks, but the texture is thinner. I don’t think I have used it consistently to see tightening results, but willing to commit to it.

Okay. At one time, this was a 5-star product! Now it is NOTHING LIKE IT WAS 2 years ago. All the positive reviews were 2020 and prior years. I only saw a couple of 2021 reviews. Can you find any 2022?Here’s my story: I first purchased this product in September 2020. I was so impressed with the inch loss I experienced, I immediately purchased 2 more jars within a couple of weeks. I didn’t want to run out! I got married the same month, got busy, etc. etc. Therefore, I didn’t use the product regularly. Here almost 2 years later and 25lbs of Pandemic weight gained, I pulled the product out to use begin using it consistently. I had 1 1/2 jars still left. I half-expected it to be ineffective and probably expired by not! Lo and behold! It was still very potent.. Even the open jjar still had the same familiar burning effect and strong Bengay smell it had nearly 2 years before. But the test would be if it still worked.Yes! yesssss! After only 1 week, I noticed a slimming of my thighs. I did the same workout, eating regimen, etc. The ONLY difference was this Hot Cream. After about 3 weeks, there is an indisputable difference in all my problem areas. I look so different…in a good way!!But…Here’s the problem. Because I was about to run out of the final jar I bought in 2020, I ordered from Amazon 1 jar. I put the remaining amount from my 2020 jar on my abs, flanks, arms and part of my thighs. I opened the new jar (the label is now red, used to be white), it is no longer a soothing gel but a heavy cream. I rubbed it on my thighs and put on my neoprene body suit and waist trainer. It has no kick to it. It has no pleasant burning sensation. I feel nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!Tell me, why do companies change a winning formula? WHY?? In all fairness, I have not allowed it to do its job yet. This is the first day of the new formula. I can almost guess that it will not be as effective (or worse, NOT effective at all and a total waste of time, effort and money). If I continue to see a difference, as I did with the original formulation, I will write an update to this 1-star review.UPDATE: I tried to give an update 2 days ago, but it never posted? I changed my rating to 5 stars! This new formulation DOES BURN! It is so potent that as I’m putting it on, it makes my eyes water! Not sure why that first dose was so unimpressive, but I can now say that this new cream formulation is just as effective as the gel-like original. My thighs look amazing. Granted, I’m using other products, but the Hot Cream is the major contributor of my results. I love love love it and will continue to buy it until my goals are reached. I apologize to any potential buyers who read my review above and did not purchase because of it. I’ll be more careful in the future to give a product time before posting my reviews. Lesson learned.😌

I've never used a hot cream before but I bought this because I have a very hard time sweating and would like to sweat more to get toxins out of my body. I rubbed this lotion into my stomach area and lower back before I went out to mow in the hopes that it would warm me up and I would sweat. I did not feel any heat from this cream at all.I will say that it smells nice and has a good texture (it's soft and melts easily into the skin). It's easy to use and seems to be a good quality lotion so I am keeping it as a general body lotion. I just wish it would make me feel warmer so I could sweat!

I like this cream. I put it on my stomach and waist before working out and then put my sauna belt over it. It will definitely have you sweating!! If you can’t handle heat, this will not be for you.
