It does what they claim
The images on the left were a batch that clarified and stabilized for at least three weeks with my normal method, the images on the right were just two days with the two part clarifier. The only downside is it's awfully tempting to skip the aging process. 😁 My only complaint is that there are no directions about how or when to use this when backsweetening, or whether this needs to be used WITH or instead of stabilizers, and reaching out to the company was worthless. Two attempts and they never replied. I ended up using it with the stabilizer, and other than adding this I used my normal backsweetening procedures. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I have one more batch aging now, near the end of my planned time limit for secondary fermentation. I will use this for that batch too.

Great for meads
This clears meads like a dream! The get clear in a couple of hours but will work better if you wait 3 days (since some really small particles will come down more slowly). It doesn't change the flavors or anything else except making the mead really clear.

Hard to measure in smaller batches
This is designed for 5-6 gallons, but with some tinkering u can use in 1gallon batches. My logic states that if its used for 5-6 gallons and i have 5-6 individual 1 gallon carboys? All i gotta do is cut it by ML. So i did that and it was mix results. The hard seltzer took it fine. It went from cloudy to almost crystal clear over night. The hard cider and my Muscadine wine fought it. So for higher particles in the fluids, i added double whatever my math was and it finally started showing promise. I will wait till the end of September to see how much more it does clear it.I think this method is ok but huge warning! It does add Allergen danger to anybody that cannot eat or drink seafood. It has shellfish in the ingredients!!I will probably for the sake of making my booze safer for everyone, try the filter system instead. Yeah its kinda pricey but u can’t put a price on safety when u want to have a product that makes everyone happy n safe.

Clears your homemade wine
I bought this to clear my homemade wine that uses Brewsy packets. These are big for the small amount I’m brewing, so I split them up proportionally. I could buy smaller packs, but this is cheaper, more well known, works better, and is faster!
