Perfect for Clean, Organized Wiring!
The Wiremold Plastic Nonmetallic Raceway is a great solution for extending power without messy cords. The installation was easy, and it blends well with the wall for a clean look. The outlet box is sturdy and works perfectly. Great for home offices or entertainment setups!

I am quite pleased. The switch is included too.
As you can see in the photos, my electric lines running into a couple of my closets are the thick, braided cords. These had very old outlets on them. The sides were left exposed on the old ones and a cover plate I placed on one left sharp edges. These outlets worked exactly as I hoped they would. One end (or one side) has "tear-out" tabs that facilitate thinner to thicker lines/wires running into the switch. The switch comes with the package too. I'm no handyman, but this was simple enough for me. The instructions are pretty clear. So, no more exposed sides or sharp edges.

Easy to add on outlet.
The box is sturdy and had no problems with the outlet. The one thing to keep in mind is are you replacing an outlet that is already there or are you putting in a whole new one. The reason I say this is because I was putting in a new outlet near the kitchen sink. I had to replace the outlet with a GFCI since it would be near moisture. Because the GCFI was a bit larger, there wasn't enough room in the box for the outlet and the wires. I ended up having to cut into the wall to make enough space. When I decided to put in another outlet in the kitchen, I went with the deeper box and it was perfect for the GFCI outlet and wires without having to cut into the wall.

Works great!
I installed mine in 10 minutes with two small screws. It does not come with mounting equipment, but you probably have some screws lying around that will do the job. Judging by the light weight, I think foam mounting tape would have worked fine, too.Six feet was too long, so I cut it with a utility knife (be careful, of course). Painted the front part the same color as the wall and it looks very nice... Definitely nicer than 4 wires hanging out of the TV!Mine held a power cable (thick), a LCD monitor cable (thick), a mini HDMI cable and a headphone cable.
