Lets get this straight from the off , this is a resin cast 1 to 1 scale none working stunt prop, not thats NOT a lights and sound toy/replica or a screen usedd prop. its weight is what you IMAGINE a real phaser might weigh, molding is crisp and detailed. all one piece.contrary to reviews estimatin paint work by a 3yr old , my example was well painted. put on display with other models (of the light and sound variety), this does not look out of place, as a cosplay piece its great until you forget and decide to phaser someone and there is no beep, no light and no shwoosh phaser sound . THIS IS A NONE FUNCTIONAL PROP ! no buttons press, no lights, nothing works, its a display piece unlike light and sound models that look identical but cost 3 to 10 times this price and still cant phaser anyone. this will look great in a case or on the wall, and as this is a solid piece of resin, should you get an iffy painted model you can repaint and weather it to your own liking. be aware dropping on a hard floor or throwing will break it and placing in an oven or micro wave will melt it. but if the show is to be believed the same results happen to a real phaser if you bake it, though this one wont explode taking half a deck with it.

for what is a fantastic resin phaser, the paint job is a complete joke and recks the overall item. What you see in the advertising isn't what you get. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Ok it’s a full size phaser very well done good detail and a nice weight for any star fleet officer to carry on an away mission and the price was awesome too and delivered fast

I bought two of them, one was very good painted, but the other one came terrible, I had to repainted the details again.
