So far so good. Woks as advertised and it does not feel or look cheap. Works great as a remote for DSLR Selfies.I would recommend.

Such a shame, I really want to like these, but I can't
I really want to give these more than 2 stars, but I just can't, due to a simple design flaw.Don't get me wrong, they work really well...I have no complaints there. And they look really good too...not too big and sit nicely on the camera or under a speedlite. The on/off switch isn't in the best place, as you can't get to it when it's sitting under a speedlite, but that's not really a problem.However......I bought these to trigger a speedlite that sits on an umbrella adapter, on a lighting stand, pointing into an umbrella. And because there is nothing securing the Yongnuo trigger to the cold shoe adapter, the weight of the speedlite drags it off the adapter when it's tilted in the wrong direction. Good job I was wary of this when I first set it up, so I could catch it without causing any damage.Similarly, I would like the option to have a second speedlite on my camera, sitting above the Yongnuo trigger. However, we have the same problem again...the Yongnuo trigger just slips off the hot shoe adapter of the camera. All this product needs is a thumb-wheel to secure the connection on the Yongnuo product...or some other way of creating a secure connection. But then again, they are c£20, and they are exceptional for their price, particularly when you compare them to the market leaders in this area. However, this design flaw makes this product unusable for me, hence why I can't give it any more than 2 stars.I hope someone from Yongnuo reads this and makes the change. I would happily pay an extra £5 or £10 to include this additional element, and it wouldn't cost that much to add.Such a shame.

Works great with Fuji X100s.
Bought a pair of these for use with a Fuji X100s camera and various flashes and am very pleased with them. The shutter speed dial on the X100s is a little hard to get to with the trigger mounted but that's more a design issue with the camera than these triggers. They work 100% reliably with the X100s and LumoPro LP180 flashes. They work pretty well with a Nikon SB800 although the flash sometimes gets a bit confused and thinks it's connected directly to a camera. Easy to ignore, just put the flash in manual mode. They also work perfectly with several different studio strobes, including Paul Buff Einsteins and Elinchrom D-Lites with the right cable adapters. The cable that comes with the triggers isn't great quality and feels rather flimsy but at this price that really isn't an issue. You can pay this much for just a cable, let alone 2 triggers as well! The range isn't bad, I'm getting 100% reliability at up to about 20m and it drops off a bit after that, but these were less than 1/10th the price of my PocketWizards, so I'm not complaining at all!All in all I'm very impressed with these triggers and very, very happy with the price.

the client was happy. Battery life (they take x2 AAA batteries) is ...
Bought 4 these so I could put a couple of flashguns on stands and fire them from the trigger mounted on the camera. Works reliably and well. When they don't fire, I expect it's because the flashguns are recycling, not that the unit is faulty! They feel a bit flimsy but they don't break when you drop them onto a polished hardwood dancefloor after a first dance at a wedding... I've only used them as a remote shutter button once and that went well - the camera was on the 2nd floor of a building and I was on the ground - I got the shot, the client was happy. Battery life (they take x2 AAA batteries) is great, even with cheap disposable AAAs as these triggers don't draw much current.4 stars because there's no TTL but then again, TTL really isn't the be-all-and-end-all; learn how to manually set off camera flash, maybe with a flashmeter, and you'll have a lot of fun. These are so cheap that you should just buy them.

Great value
I bought these simply to trigger the YN560 III 2.4Ghz Wireless Flash Speedlite Support RF-602/603 YN560-III For Canon Nikon Pentax Olympus (which has the receiver built in) but I'm amazed at their flexibility. This comes with a Canon C3 connection cable to trigger the camera, but I bought a Pixel CL-E3 2.5mm Coiled Connecting Cable for Canon DSLR to use it with a Fuji X-E1 (or any camera with a Canon E3 connection (2.5mm jack)). This lets you use them as wired or wireless remote shutter release as well as a wireless flash trigger. The 2 transceivers are the same and they configure themselves according to what they are connected to. You can use them as a wired shutter release, a wireless shutter release, wireless flash triggers or any combination. You could, for instance, use the button on the remote flash to trigger both the flash and the camera. Half a press focusses the camera and a full press releases the shutter, as you would expect. These are great value, you get both wireless flash triggers and remote shutter release for half the price of buying them individually. Brilliant.
Truthfully if you are after a wireless remote shutter release then you ain't gonna be disappointed with these units. If the name Canon had been printed on these units they would have been four times the price ... probably.I've a large garden and also a decent enough patio with bird feeders, bath etc. I can set the unit up (only seconds to do) watch TV or sit inside reading while I nonchalantly take an image of where I have it focused. I'll state the absolute OBVIOUS ... set focus to manual if you have it set at a certain spot. auto works well enough too,I'd have happily paid twice the price. Oh and the seller is a ten out of ten too!.
