Perfect Fix for a Broken SATA Power Connector
I accidentally broke the little plastic tab that protects the 15-pin power connector on one of my SATA III drives. I was worried the cable would no longer stay firmly in place, but this extension cable completely solved the problem. The best feature is the **locking latch** — it clips securely into the drive and prevents the connector from slipping off, even if the drive or cables get bumped. It also helps reduce wear on the original drive connector, since I can leave this adapter plugged in permanently and only connect/disconnect at the extension side. Build quality is excellent, the fit is snug, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. If you’ve got a fragile or damaged SATA power connector, or just want a little extra peace of mind with a secure connection, this is an inexpensive and highly effective solution. Highly recommended!

The male side of the connectors does not have a latch.
