The Fan: So far so good. It has maybe 72hrs on it so far recirculating 65C air. I worry about the electronics... but so far it's holding up well. It does not move as much air as some other models, but I knew that when I bought it. For my use, it's plenty good enough. The cord: Throw it away. Or fix it. The switch on this cord is a fire hazard. The wire is poorly crimped and I was able to pull the wire out of the contacts inside the switch. The switch makes kind of intermittent contact when in the ON position... which creates a high resistivity connection... which makes heat... which melted part of the switch. Thankfully I was in the room when the device turned off spontaneously to diagnose why and noticed that the switch was hot. DO NOT USE THIS SWITCH. Or do. It's your choice and I'm not your mom.

To illustrate the CFM: it might blow a ping pong ball across the flat surface of a table, but not a golf ball. I am using this behind an upright freezer that requires 3 inches of gap behind it. The pantry closet it sits in does not allow the required gap. So the freezer was dysfunctional until I placed this blower into the too narrow gap to facilitate air and thermal exchange. Problem solved. The fan requires someone who is electrically savvy to connect the wires. If you don't know what you are doing with electrical wires, buy a more user friendly fan than this one. Know your own limitations. You will need electrical tape skills and/or soldering with heat shrink tube skills. If you don't know what I am talking about, do not buy this.

I bought these and installed them in a sound dampening/ weather resistant enclosure I built to house my Predator 2000 generator while boondocking with my camper. The fans pull in cool air from the bottom of the enclosure and vent heat and exhaust fumes out the top side. I took a chance with these and was very impressed, although they were a bit smaller than I was expecting. But with both of them mounted and wired together on a single plug, they plugged into one outlet while my camper was plugged into the other and ran for 4 days straight, only stopping when I shut the generator off for refueling, and immediately started back up, keeping the interior temperature of the enclosure between 85-95°, even when it was loaded to nearly its max output. This little science experiment worked out perfectly!!
