Screws on fine
There may have been a couple nicks but it was just as good quality and easy to solder as Home Depot parts and this one is much cheaper

I am really pleased.
I use these mainly for water heater supply line connections. I read the negative reviews and still took a chance. These are no different than retail hardware store fittings. They look good and fit as expected, and yes I tested them. They came in a typical ;plastic bag that most copper fittings come in and were about 1/2 the cost as some major retailers.. I say "gittum".

Teflon AND dope
I bought 2 packages of 1" threaded copper fittings. After soldering them to pipe, I gave them ~3 wraps of the teflon tape and tightened them down good.....every one of them LEAKED. I dissassembled everything and gave them 5 wraps of higher quality teflon PLUS pipe dope. Not a one of them leak anymore. I just wish I knew to go overboard the first time. Thought Id leave this review in case it helps someone else from suffering the same fate.

Good purchase for the price
Although the diameter did seem a little bit bigger than the ones I purchase at supply house but as long as you know how to sweat copper fill in your copper joint properly you should not have an issue and as far as the threads they did seem a little rough I hit them with a wire brush before installing Teflon and then pipe dope which I find a Surefire way to prevent thread leakage. I have not had any issues with them as of yet I've installed several.

Very nice, made in USA
Reorganizing our home's water supply lines by running 3/4 copper pipes. Needed male adapters in a couple locations and ordered these from Amazon. The finish and threads were perfect. The sweat opening was perfectly round and easy to solder. I'm used to purchasing higher priced NIBCO fittings that are made in Mexico, but these unbranded fitting only were marked 'Made in USA".

The threads are not cut nice and even after using thread tape as i always ...
The price was right on these fittings. But everywhere i put one of these fittings in my application they leaked. The threads are not cut nice and even after using thread tape as i always use on all my fittings they leak a little bit. My basement is not a finished basement so the small leaks will be ok in my case.
