They work great and sounds quality is similar to the original.
They sound very similar to the original speakers. Couple points to know, the screw on the left speaker that sits under the logic board is not long enough as the plastic on the surrounds are slightly thicker. This also caused my hard drive to touch the speaker on the right side but I have a large capacity after market drive which is slightly longer than the factory drive. Other than that all the screw holes lined up and everything fit. Sounds clean and loud. Happy with the buy.

They are not the same as the factory speaker, but its better than listening to distortion
My left speaker went bad ( to the point nothing was legible coming out of it). The price was right on this, so i decided to give it a try.First and foremost, you need to know what your doing, Took me about an hour to tear it down and put it back together.Second, The tools included were very nice, Magnetic tips are a must when dealing with very small screws. Had no issues with the supplied screwdrivers.Third, They physically fit perfect. all screw holes lined up and mounts very easy. Lastly, the sound quality is sub par (maybe a little lower). These sound nothing close to the original speakers. As most of the one star reviews will say, no bass and not clear highs. Also, i only get half the volume i had before. For me, I can live with it cause its still a major improvement over the blown speaker, But its not good to listen to music with like with the originals. If your audio is absolutely horrible or you have blown speakers these will do the trick, if your upgrading for better sound quality, these are not it.

Easy DIY
Disclaimer, I got the speakers in today and replaced only the RH one due to it being blown... So, I am reviewing this product based on build quality, doing it yourself (DIY), and only one speaker (RH).The product was a perfect fit for my 2013 MacBook Pro 15". First power on (same day review), the speaker works like a champ and there is no sound difference from the OEM LH speaker. Overall, the replacement was very easy, but be weary, you have to take apart the majority of the laptop. What helped me: Take pictures as you remove screws and components and draw a diagram for the parts and screws removed. Youtube was a HUGE help, I found a step by step video in seconds.

AVOID - Buy used orignal OEM part instead
I regret this purchase.Teardown following ifixit instructions, if its your first time, takes well over an hour, especially if you're cleaning as you go and are meticulous about getting dust out.40+ tiny machine screws, all different lengths, easy to get out of order. Fragile components, must have a steadt hand. Do not attempt if this is your first go at technology repair.Highly recommend having calipers available to cross check screw lengths, magnifying glass, handheld manual bulb dust blower, black stick/spudger, and ice cube trays to keep screws in order. and a screen for the instructions larger than a phone, if you can swing it.I installed one of the two as only one of my speakers was blown. On reassemble, the original OEM speaker's volume overpowers the replacement part - I couldn't tell that there was audio coming out of the new speaker until I adjusted the balance to play 90% on the right speaker.Audio quality is better than a blown speaker, no way to test the speaker you receive before you install.Spend the extra couple dollars and get an original factory part if you can, instead of taking a risk on an unknown vendor.

Not a novice repair to take on
I found a good youtube vid on replacing these. But I've torn into my macbooks on my own for 15 years. This would be a very tough repair to start with. Lots of potential to ruin other parts potentially killing your laptop. But, that aside, I'm super impressed with how the speakers sound now. Very happy with them

Works Great/Intermediate Installation
I had to teardown my whole laptop to replace these, not an issue, but not easy to install, but works great for me. My original was blown out. Youtube will probably be your best friend
