This pump works great for our needs. Easy to use, just put it in the water turn it on and it starts pumping out water. Then to clean it i just run clean water through it and let it dry. You aren't going to be draining a pond with this but for small water build up like our flower pot this works great and its small and easy to store the hose is two feet long.

This little transfer pump exceeded my expectations. I love that it runs on six AA batteries, so there’s no cords, no outlets, and no hassle. I used it to transfer fuel and other liquids, and it worked quickly and smoothly without leaks. Setup was straightforward, and it has plenty of power for its size. The battery operation makes it perfect for emergencies, garages, outdoor use, or anywhere you don’t want to deal with electricity. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and gets the job done fast. If you’re looking for a reliable, portable transfer pump, this is absolutely worth it.

To preface, I've owned a few of these (this exact black and orange pump from various Chineseium brands), I use these to water my indoor plants and seem to go through about one a year. After pulling it out of the box I immediately noticed the outside of the battery compartment had a really weird feel. Sticky almost. When I got it out into the light it looked quite gross and smudgy, someone else has clearly had their hands all over this thing. Take the battery compartment off, and the contacts inside are clearly worn. Best yet, the batteries basically don't make actual contact at all, even after tightening it as much as I was comfortable with. I could only get the motor to spin very briefly if I giggled the whole thing up and down. I can see why it was returned, but it was turned around and resold without so much as a thought. Luckily the only thing wrong with my old pump was the hose started tearing open at a spot. I unhooked the hose off this "new" one and threw the rest in the trash.

5 stars for the product WHEN WORKING 2 stars for a short lifespan 0 star so far for customer service. Bought it 6/2024. Upon receipt found the hose is a little too short and asked the vendor if they can sell me a longer hose. No reply since June 2024. I used the unit sparingly only to remove water from indoor planter catch basin after watering. Last used 3 months ago. Today 2/22/25, the unit will not turn on. Sent an email to customer service to check if there is a way I CAN FIX IT before deciding to purchase another. Hopefully, I won't have to wait a decade for a reply. Update 2/25/25 I was in communication with the seller for the past few days after my review posted. We discussed several options on how to go about resolving the issue with the product. I can say that the seller went above and beyond to make me comfortable to trust that they will stand by their product. I thank the seller for working with me on this matter.

Will not pump up the jam. Jam is to thick. It will pump up everything else except the jam.

Works fantastic! My dishwasher was clogging so I bought this to pump the water out so I could unclog it. Excellent product.

The pump fails after several months. I use this pump to transfer water out of my large plant trays. I’ve purchased 3 and they’ve all failed. I store outside in a closed garden box.

I’m neurotic and use this to empty my Christmas tree stand when I decided to feed it after it stopped drinking and now it’s time to go. It works fantastically well. I’m sure I’ll find more uses.

I used 6 AA cells. Very good flow, filled my lawn mower tank in less than 10 seconds. I don't know if it would pump as quickly with 2 D cells. Once you have filled your tank and shut off the pump, the gas drains back into your gas can. Very sanitary. The instructions say to rinse with water after use, but with gasoline I don't think this would be a good idea. Maybe it would be appropriate if you were pumping something that was water based.
