An excellent french press that we use to make loose leaf tea. It holds enough to fill two large cups and is a breeze to use. It also looks great and has exceptional quality and build. The handle is cool to the touch when the chamber is filled with a hot liquid, and the tea stays warm for a reasonable amount of time. It is also less expensive than other brands. Try it and I'm sure you'll use it again and again.

This is a great metal coffee press that we have been using for months after giving up on using the breakable glass version. I washed and seasoned by leaving coffee in it all day and then starting using it just fine. The plunger strainer is hard to unscrew for cleaning out of the box....i used a pair of pliers over a cloth to hold the rod and turned the strainer part to loosen the first time and now it is easy to do by hand. If you want an insulated one that holds temperature for hrs you will have to shell out a lot more money...this may stay hot an hr depending on the surface its resting on. This is great quality at a great price!

I like it, I do. It keeps coffee warmer than my old glass press. It gives a magnificent pour. Easy to clean. Quality.......it's good, not great. Out of the box there was significant wear on the bottom edges. It has a small piece of metal inside the double walled compartment. Every time I move it, pour a cup, I hear this little piece of metal rattling around. Forever trapped in void. It's quite maddening.

I’m not a coffee drinker and have said bye to a traditional coffee maker taking up precious real estate on my counter. This is for my guests since - let’s face it - everyone else on the planet loves coffee. And they love the coffee this little guy makes. Everyone wants to know where I got the fancy scoop too. Bonus! BTW: Tea is my brew of choice ... this guy makes a fabulous pot of tea that stays warm all morning.

I just purchased one of these and so far I am extremely impressed. All polished stainless steel inside and out - both practical and beautiful. While it's not super-insulated like a Thermos bottle, the double-wall design does a fairly good job of keeping coffee hot, much better than glass-walled French presses. It pours very cleanly and the handle is comfortable to hold. Highly recommended.

Not sure if they changed the description recently but i recall it originally saying vacuum insulated. This most definite doesn't not have any insulation. It begins bleeding heat right away and it will maintain what ever hot beverage you have to about luke warm after an hour. Requested an replacement after about a week of use thinking that the one we got was defective. Just received our replacement and same results. I came on to write a review and now the description looks suspiciously different that when I first purchased it including when i requested a replacement (since i double checked for the vacuum insulation part). Debating whether or not i want to send both back since its not what i expected.

I like this one very much. I have another at work and that one leaks sometimes and the strainer thing makes a vacuum and shoots up a volcano of coffee grounds. I like my coffee black like the night and strong. And I mean strong. This French press can handle it. Cleans up great. Looks shiny, but something rattled in between the insulated layers. That’s the rattle of fantastic stay hot forever coffee you’re about to have!

I bought this after my glass beaker broke on the Bodum French Press that I've had for 5 years. I generally like the product and I love that the coffee stays warm! I also like that I don't have to worry about glass breaking. However, there are 2 issues that bother me; one is that when you push the plunger down the canister, the metal on metal is like nails on a chalkboard. The other is that I can't seem to find a way to unscrew the bottom part of the plunger so coffee grounds get stuck between the screen and metal pieces (my Bodum came apart so that you could wash everything well).
