The name of this cup totally fits it Funkrin - it is Fun and funky! I mean, it has a cat wearing a headset typing on a laptop with a mouse, and a cat lying his head on a laptop next to another critter and what appear to be cookies (I think). It's adorable. It is perfect for me because I type for a living doing transcription and I'm constantly wearing a headset and typing on my laptop or computer, and I love my cat naps! Also, I love cats, particularly orange tabby cats, so it's like this cup was made just for me. It's colorful. I absolutely LOVE the screw on lid. So much better than the kind that pop in and out and eventually get loose over time requiring you to replace the rubber seal (and also get stained by various drinks where the slider for the mouthpiece is). It can sometimes be hard to align correctly, but it just takes a second or third attempt and it goes on correctly. It also stays tightly screwed in place so it is very easy to carry it by the handle on the lid which is very helpful when I've got my hands full of things going from one room to another or getting in and out of my car. Because I read that several people had issues with the interior coating flaking off, I will only be drinking water without ice or hot coffee or tea in this cup. I don't want to take any chances on having ice scratching the ceramic coating. For ice drinks I will use either my other double-walled plastic cups or if I get a cold drink from a restaurant I can just slide their plastic or paper cup down into this tumbler to keep it cold for as long as I'm drinking it. I did that today with a frozen coke (Icee). I bought the frozen coke at 2 p.m. I slipped the plastic cup from the drive-thru into my Funkrin tumbler and proceeded to enjoy my drink. 4 hours later I still have frozen slushy goodness that I'm sipping on (even without the lid on) which is wonderful because I get brain freeze if I try to drink those too fast. I've enjoyed some hot green tea and coffee out of my cup this week and both stayed warm for hours which is good because it's been pretty cold here this week and with my other tumblers they would have cooled off within an hour normally. Finally, I love the feel of the tumbler. It is painted, but it's a smooth, cool, hard to describe outer coating. It can definitely be slippery if you have wet hands or have just used lotion on your hands, but other than that it is super easy to cold and doesn't get warm on the outside even if you have hot liquids inside. I would have preferred not having the stainless steel rim around the outside lip of the tumbler simply because I was trying to avoid any metal near my mouth, but since I am usually either drinking from it with the lid on it or with another cup inside it with a straw it's really not a big deal. Water tastes wonderful from it and stays cold for a very long time. The size is actually perfect for me because I tend to dribble if I have large-mouthed cups (I.e. 24-32 oz or more). Also when I'm drinking tea or coffee I never drink more than 16 ounces in any given day anyway, so this one is perfect. I would love it if they would come out with an identical one in 24 ounces to use as my water glass so I don't have to refill it as often, but in the meantime I absolutely ADORE this one and all my friends do too!

I have bought some of them and absolutely love them. I have to have ceramic lining because some of my medications. I love the handle and the ease of using them. They keep my coffee, tea and hot chocolate hot for a long time. They are worth every penny. I have given some as a gift too. My friends love them too

This was my first purchase, and I'm in love with it! It keeps coffee piping hot, and the quality of the material is superb. I gave it 4 stars because the cover is not very durable. A simple drop cracked the seam of the cover, causing it to start leaking. It would be great if a replacement cover was made available for such an awesome product. Now, I just use it as a regular coffee mug. I really love the design and the color!

I love this cup. I got the cat one and find it adorable. I've had the cup 3.5 years with very regular use (I drink mostly hot tea in it). Today, the handle broke off when I was unscrewing the lid, so I've bought a replacement of the exact same since I felt I got my money's worth out of the first one. I'm hoping they didn't change anything major on the design as I love the esthetic and the functionality of it. I really didn't think I'd care about the handle but it was actually quite... handy. :) I love that I can leave the lid off for 5-10 min to cool my tea to drinkable temp then put the lid on. From there, it easily STAYS a drinkable temp for 3 or so hours (more than enough time to finish my cup). Over time my tea did stain the inside a bit, but I expect that with white ceramic and if I was truly bothered by it I could soak it off with vinegar, if needed. I managed to scratch the exterior in a few small spots, but that didn't bother me and the painted design stayed on quite well. It may be worth noting that I only hand washed it, as I didn't think the dishwasher was a good idea for the "double walled" interior or the cute paint, but really it was more of a personal choice to hand wash it too keep it for as long as possible. Update 5/26/2025: the new cup arrived today. There are some minor changes to the design but they all appear to be upgrades which makes me quite happy. Specifically the changes are: - the old version was a slick paint exterior, the new has a textured paint making the grip of the cup better - in the old version the picture/pattern paint was raised, now the pattern is much more flush/part of the textured paint. I think this will make scratching the pattern harder to do but that is just a guess - the new one has a metal ring around the top of the cup, which likely will prevent paint from chipping from screwing the cap on, but I didn't really have a problem with that before anyway I saw in some reviews folks mentioned a bad plastic smell on the cap - I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell (like that of a pregnant woman) and I can say with confidence there was zero rubber or plastic smell to the new one.

This mug has everything a travel mug needs. It keeps my coffee hot for quite a long time, the lid attaches firmly and has a nice handle to hold it and a nice snap opening for drinking. The inside does not impart any bad tastes, and the size is perfect for my car. It has yet to leak even a tiny little bit, and I don't expect it to because it closes firmly and has good seals. It even has a little rubber or silicone base, so it doesn't slip.

This is a much improved version of this cup. Much more robust, heavier more durable. This vent hole is larger allowing the contents to flow more quickly. I have owned two of these in the past and would not have recommended them. With the new improvements I can now heartily recommend this cup. Sturdy, free flowing, holds the heat forever, and looks very stylish.

PROS: Mug is a true 16oz mug and actually more if you fill to the rim a big plus. Seemed to hold temperature for a while. It is nice to have a ceramic lining that helps keep cup clean and does not transfer a metallic taste to coffee. Nice textured exterior for grip and has more at bottom so it acts like the mug own coaster sort of. The listing is correct and has pictures that match the product which is always a plus. CONS: Even with this being the most inexpensive of the batch it still was expensive. LID DESIGN IS AWFUL!!! The cap has way to much plastic and is way to much in contact with whatever you are drinking. Hot liquids may be a problem with the cap, after all if it isn't dishwasher safe what else is there that may be leached out. Both the inside of the cup and the lid had a strong chemical smell when they arrived. The smell left from the cup after hand washing; the lid is another story. I will attempt to handwash the lid again and may soak it in hot sudsy water to see if that removes the smell. Drinking hot liquids from this cup you running the risk of totally burning yourself if you are someone like me that likes their coffee at 194degees just shy of boiling hot. The lid design is modeled after the cheap disposables for looks and vent placement what they neglect to take into consideration is that your face gets close enough to help sense the heat of the coffee with a disposable; not this lid. Oh and spill resistant yes. Spill proof no. Not only that you have to make sure to torque down on the lid tighter than you think to keep from leaking. With the size of the lid I take the blame as not thinking about the fact it lives 1.5 inches deep in your cup and all your hot drinks travel 1.5 inches to over plastic to get to you. Sadly though if this cup did not have that interior screw fitting which I totally anticipate will put undo wear on the ceramic coating I could have just replaced the lid and this three star review would then be a four star review. The mug itself is not that bad. UPDATE: Okay I finally learned how to drink out of this cup. Lid still has enough odor and affects flavor of coffee. The steam vent works well to let you know when you are able to actually drink with the lid on or warn you that you will burn your upper lip on the inside as that is where your coffee is going first unless you bury the cup in your mouth deep which also risks the back of your mouth. If you simply blow some air through mouth hole the vent hole will let you know if it is too hot to drink with lid on. Lid off you treat it just like an overpriced coffee cup. I really tried to like this cup/mug, but it is unusable for me with lid on for coffee. Cold drinks well you can slug them down faster and whatever is coming out of the lid affect cold flavor less. Putting lid in Boiling hot water submerged failed to remove odor. CUP is okay, does not outperform my Ozark Trails cup for anything but taste as ceramic lining really does help with flavor. CUP would be perfect if there were no threads for the cap and different design so as a normal generic mug lid would fit. LID well if I didn't need it for spill insurance to and from my desk I'd toss it in the trash. Sorry I really don't like writing reviews like this one, and really wanted to love this mug/cup, but I'm not going to lie either. Lid still impacting flavor of even my warm coffee as I can't drink it hot out of this lid cup combo. No I would not buy this cup again, and strongly recommend it only for iced drinks. I'm not going to return this cup and who knows just may be able to learn how to drink hot coffee from it. But the lid truly fits one purpose but defeats the pleasurable coffee drinking experience. My first cup of tea out of this cup was without the lid on so I would not scorch my mouth.

I have purchased about 6 coffee mugs over the past year or 2 and have had a great experience. I’m sorry I haven’t left a review until now. I never had any problems with leaking or keeping my coffee warm for several hours. The last one I ordered did have small chips in the paint, but they replaced it within 24 hours of my request for replacement! It was perfect! The chips in paint were so small, I would have kept it, but it is a gift. I follow the directions and I don’t put them in the dishwasher. The ones I’ve had for a long time still function perfectly and still look nice.
