They are not very thick but thick enough to give you a good grip on stuff. If it is really tough to open I use one on the top and one to grip the jar.

No, they are not sticky or tacky. They are fabulous to use. You'll wonder how you ever got along without them!

I don't know if they contain latex. I would not recommend them. They were terrible. I discarded them because they were stuck together so tightly that I could not separate them.
