Kite Giant 3D Goldfish Frameless Soft Parafoil Kite
Awesome little kite that flies well in winds ranging from about 5mph up to ~15mph. Construction seems to be sound and appears to be made from standard kite "fabric" (40d rip-stop). Includes a decent bag for storage and a small amount of braided kite line ... not the cheepo twisted type usually found. A few tips for any kite such as this: Not sure if I would trust the included line although it seems of decent quality - braided rather than twisted. I used standard 100lb braided line on a reel with no concern. Do not use a clip, etc to attach the line rather, use a standard larks head knot - the Tubes of You is your friend for this if you're not sure what this is. Use this knot for all kites and save yourself some grief. The pull is not too bad though I would not let a small child hold onto it without adult supervision. When gusts are present it will pull. If the kite seems to want to dive then make sure to attach the included lonnnng tails preferably tied on the end to make a loop. This makes a world of difference. In lighter winds do not attach the tails as it will weigh the kite down too much. 10mph and up ... use the tails. I would not recommend flying it in winds greater than 20mph or so as it becomes unstable. Many have stated here it is difficult to reel in. As with all kites of this type do not even try to pull it in this way. Instead, walk down the kite (search the Tubes of You for "how to walk down a kite") and you'll save yourself from sore arms and hands. When walking it down I usually use a carabiner but you could certainly place it under the arm just make sure you have padding to prevent a burn from the line. Once it's down detach it from the line, fold it up, then reel in the empty line. Easy-peasy. This thing attracts loads of attention especially with the long tails streaming behind in the breeze. It certainly has a presence - I love the bulging eyes. Even after 3 hours of flying in strong 15mph winds anchored down and let alone it did not show any signs of wear as many in this price point would. Overall, it's a pretty nice little kite. Recommended.

Super fun kite
Great kite. You definitely have to attach the tails for balance. Had a great time flying it on the beach and even drew a crowd. I did buy a different kite string and handle that had a clip instead of using the one provided because I wasn't confident that I would be able to tie a knot strong enough to prevent the kite from flying away. It was really easy to launch and it looked SUPER COOL!

Great fun for the money! Good for beginners or casual fliers.
Goes up like a breeze. Very unique and I got a lot of compliments at a kite festival today. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the included extra tails are WAY too long for regular use. I had to cut them. I also worry about longevity. The included bag, the same material as the kite, is already tearing. That makes me sad because the thought of trying to patch this thing out in the field is daunting for a casual flier. It is pretty fun to fly, but high winds will make it hard to handle and it’s not easy to adjust all the strings. But for the price, go for it! I recommend buying a reel—makes it so much easier to use!

Cute kite!
Lovely kite. Got a lot of compliments on it. Definitely changed the strings for different ones but the kite itself is nice.

Great value, beautiful design
Wow! I bought 6 kites for my nephews for a beach vacation. This kite is huge and well made. I had to check again the price I paid because it seems like it should cost much more. It is 3D and inflates with the wind so that it looks like an orca from the bottom and sides too. It flies well and looks really good. It is a pretty big kite and pulls hard on the line. You should get a good reel for it like the 9" round reel I used. Very satisfied and the nephew loves it.

Great fun, BUT if you get the Goldfish, be forwarned...
I purchase the red GOLDFISH. For the money, I can't complain. It's a great looking kite, flies really easy, as most parafoils do. I love it in the air. The material is pretty cheap crispy kite fabric of very thin nylon (not ripstop), not in the same class as other parafoil kites I own. I don't know how long it will last. I've only had it up twice so far but in pretty good winds. (19mph). So far, so good. It's the putting away part that is a total pain in the butt. You'll never get it all to fit into the package it came it. You won't be able to stuff it, if you stuff soft kites. Folding? I need to lay it out on the living room floor to figure out the best way to get that done. The part that keeps me from flying this more often is the tails. They look really cool in the air. Hard to take your eyes off of them...BUT folding them back up to put away...OMG, especially on a breezy day. You'll need to cut some cardboard forms to assist in getting the tails put away and a fair bit of patience. Like I mentioned, I do love the look of it. It's a nice size and flies easily, but I doubt I'll be flying it as much as most of my other kites, just because of the put away factor. I gave it three stars averaging out Looks and ease of flight (worth 5 stars), materials worth 2.5 stars and putting away the kite after flight ...one star.

Beautiful giant easy to fly kite for cheap!
Super cool! Seems well made, flies so easy! Looks absolutely awesome in the sky. I had it 1200 ft out and surprisingly very easy to hang on to and reel in. Packed right back up into the case provided. Couldn’t be happier.

Great for the Beach
Awesome Kite. Great quality. Pairs this with a kite reel and had it up about 500 feet in the air. No issues.

You should buy this kite! It flys so easy, just unpack it and take it slow unrolling in a garage or inside a large space where there is no wind. Once it hits the wind it will take off immedietly so hold on tight. Worth every penny, fabric is a bit thin and crunchy but not much different from my prism Cilantro 140. Thanks for the awesome product!

had many complements on this kite, the streamers and fish fly great and are so fun to watch. Its a bit of work getting it down and putting away though, but you can't get away from that. Highly recommend.
