I like this spoon very much. It is easy to hold the angle works and I can use it with ease. Highly recommend.

although the look is a bit like this set is for a baby, the fork and spoon are a great help for anyone recuperating from injuries. no moving parts so nothing breaks!

The picture online made it look like the curve of the spoon was also up and down and not just sideways. The grip is too flat and does not work for me. But I can cut off the grip and put the spoon itself inside of a built up foam piece to be able to use independently. I have quadriplegia and this is more for somebody with arthritis. I would not recommend this product for anyone in my condition because I am going to have to adapt this piece of equipment in order for me to use it.

I bought these for my 93 year old mother who has macular degeneration making eating a real challenge. She chases her food around her plate with regular silverware. These allow her to use more of a shovel technique to get her food. The bright color makes it very easy for her to see as she is eating as well. She also suffers from Alzheimer's and so logic isn't a strong point. The spoon has been particularly great as it is very easy for her to use. The come in left or right hand versions to make sure you pick the right option for you.

I bought this for my girlfriend who has MSA/Parkinson’s. She needs help eating.The Bend makes it so much easier for her to get the food to her mouth. She uses a overhand grip on it. To see how it helps- 1st Make a fist —like you are picking up the spoon “ With an Overhand grip” THEN -Bend your elbow as you “Pretend” to get -“The spoon to your mouth”. Now you can see -why for stiff or un-coordinated people— this device has a needed bend. Without the bend- you will need to Rotate (Cock) your wrist to get the food to your mouth. The less bending of joints the better & easier! Great Product! Try the idea yourself -to understand the difference this will make!
