My mother had an old toilet raised seat that was hard to clean and interfered sometimes with toilet flushing. I purchased a raised toilet, 16 1/2 inches tall. But she is unable to stand and wipe so while sitting on commode would wipe. With the new comfort toilet her hand would get in the toilet water when wiped. To solve that I purchased this white open 2" raised toilet. Was difficult for me to put on, the clear gasket fell off while assembling and I lost one of them. Prayed to God to help me find and he did, praise God. Finally got on and she used. It resolved the problem perfectly. I am very happy with purchase, since it did what I wanted it to do. Would like to suggest to company to make the bolt that goes in the back toilet hole, make that bolt a little longer, as it had to also go through a toilet hand rail that also attached in same hole. And suggest to company that they supply with toilet a 9/16 open wrench to tighten. I did not have one. Will have to go out today and purchase one to tighten further. For the moment used an adjustable wrench.

Great product but hard to keep steady. They should include a tool to use to install and tighten EVEN if there is a bit of an extra charge.

A bit Pricey but serves its purpose very durable.

The height of the riser included the seat thickness which wasnt clear in the description. It wasn't tall enough for our needs.

Toilet riser is well made but did not work for our purpose.Used on American Standard Champion 4 ADA 15" Chair Height ElongatedThe seat is about 1" higher than a normal seatbut the opening is 8-3/4" wide and slopes inward.vs 7-3/4" flat seat for American Standard (AS).This was too high and caused senior to slip into the openingand have feet off the floor.Installed grab rails on front and side of toilet.
