I'm trying to be better about writing reviews about things I really enjoy, given how much I order from Amazon and am meh on.Problem: My 6'7" boyfriend enjoys sitting in a large armchair. However, our apartment and living room arrangement makes any side table awkward. This left him holding onto his drink with no place to easily set it if he decided to work on his laptop.I saw this item in passing from time to time and sort of scoffed. Like...$25? For a silicone cup holder? Really? Boy, am I eating my words. This was a very nice surprise.It feels heavy and sturdy, with the two ends weighted nicely so its not easily displaced. Underneath there is a plastic base that may or may not be removable? I'm thinking not. But it keeps things stable and flat. There is a plastic insert so you can try to fit larger mugs (not all will fit though). I found it useful with my larger water bottles. The finish is matte with the exception of the plastic pieces. While this is nice, it does show dust and attracts hair. Easy enough to wipe off with a damp cloth.Overall, do you need it? Depends on who you are. But I'm very, very pleased with the construction and the durability. My boyfriend is as well. One of those little things that makes our lives a smidgen better.

I purchased this cup holder to put on the center console of my vehicle, works great since it has the sides that arelonger and heavier, which hang down between the seats, keeping the holder secure. I also have one, from the samemanufacturer, which I have on the arm of my recliner. I would highly recommend this item, also comes in different colors.

these things are just straight up AWESOME! sturdy. People who visit you will be asking to take one home with them. Buy extras to share with your company. They will be forever grateful! Two sizes (insert can be removed).

The inner tube makes it a great size for typical canned drinks. Removing it is not quick and easy, which is a drawback. Once it's removed, the larger size is too small for most of my coffee mugs, which are not particularly large in my opinion. A design that held a larger variety of sizes easily would improve this product greatly. I also found that my couch arm was too small for this product, but I set it on the couch next to me and it keeps my drinks from tipping over and I set my coffee mug on one of the flat flaps on the side and am able to move on with my life.

This item is a game changer!!! It fits over my couch arm and it’s perfect!! My cup does not move at all even when I get up and sit back down. I’m so glad I purchased this. Would highly recommend.
