OXO Good Grips Glass 2 Qt Baking Dish with Lid

This was a replacement for an old Pyrex baking dish of a similar size. Very well constructed with easy-to-grip handles. Note that this glassware is made of Borosilicate, which is of higher quality than the glass used in current Pyrex products in the United States. Comes with a plastic top which is good for storing leftovers but is NOT oven-safe. Highly recommended overall.

I got this to bake things in. The included sealing lid works great for sweet treats that sit out on the counter like brownies. Perfect size, perfectly strong, this will be my keto casserole dish. I needed something what would fit into "my" drawer on the fridge, but be wide enough, tall enough to make a decent size casserole, with 2 lbs of venison, then whatever goodies are in the recipe. This dish - perfect !

cover fits snug & dish is easy to clean

This is a good glass baking dish - nothing special about it but it works fine and the dish itself is sturdy. Clean up is as per usual with glass bakeware - easy unless there is cheese involved 😣😆 I will say the lid is not very strong/sturdy. I have Pyrex glass baking dishes with soft plastic or silicone (not sure) lids and those are much better. This one is hard plastic and is thin, and has already broken a little bit along the edge. It still works, and it is nice to have a lid for one’s baking dish, just could be sturdier if it were silicone or softer flexible plastic, etc. I don’t use this size baker very often but I expect over time the lid will break at some point. I do try to be careful with it, but being thinner hard plastic it undoubtedly has a shelf life.
