The book is very comprehensive and covers a lot of ground. It covers the technical matters well. The key here is practice. You need to take one concept at a time and practice it using the camera for at least one or two days to internalize the skills. Things like composition, color combination, Black and white etc can be done on the mobile phone.Once you master the technical matters like composition, exposure, lighting, contrast, Lenses, histogram, filters, editing etc. Then I suggest you read "The Art of Photography" and "The Essence of Photography" books to develop your unique photographic vision and philosophy.

Nothing too much. Good choice for a beginner learner photographer.

Very easy to understand. Point wise explanation doesn't make it a long bore read. Explanation with pictures makes understanding quick. Very impressed.

Very good book for beginners.. it has deep content with illustrative pictures and exercises to test the learning. In my opinion, it almost covers all aspects of photography to make one expert. Remaining is meticulous practice, of course.
