This is easy to put on, easy to take off. Works very well! We sprayed 40% vinegar all over and couldn't smell the vinegar with the mask on. With it off, it was an overpowering stench that you couldn't stand to breathe. Best part of the whole product is that it is fog free on glasses! I never fogged the entire 3 days of wearing it!

I bought this respirator for home use, having previously used a respirator at work when working around fumes. I have previously used weed killer with a strong odor, prompting me to use a paper mask, which helped but left me wanting more protection. Recently, I bought some Limeaway spray to combat hard water stains in the shower and it too has a strong smell. I bought this respirator to continue cleaning and the filters work great to protect me. The unit is comfortable to wear and easy to use. It came with an extra set of 2097 filters which I wasn't expecting.

It's cheap, and 3M needs the standards for safety. Cartridges swap easily. I don't expect this to last long under heavy use and being banged around in work caddies. That's OK because again, it's cheap. Almost impossible to push glasses close to eyes as normal and that affects vision-sharpness needed for fine quality craftsmanship. No fogging issues though. Make sure the top bands are loose enough so the upper nose portion doesn't dig into your nose. But also make sure the seal is adequate for safety needs whether dust or vapors. When taking off after oil priming, I'm still stunned I could sense none of that (I used Organic Vapor carts). The lead dust this comes with make the price worth it. Can't wait to upgrade to a more expensive comfortable model - this works for the price.

I've usually used just the basic face masks and bought this for a little more protection. It seems to filter very well. It fits well. There are 2 straps. One goes around your neck and you can latch it on and off. The other goes on your head and has two parts and fits like a hat--one on the top and one on the back of your head. So that is very comfortable. It makes a tight seal also. I may have had it a bit too tight because it gets a bit uncomfortable after a while. The filters work well, I was surprised that they eliminated all smell while I was working sweeping up cat litter. Considering how well this works I'll probably use this for most uses instead of the basic mask that does not seal on your face.

Over the last few months I have been using several different types of face masks. Some of them fog my glasses. Some of them clearly don't stop much of anything because I can smell everything through them. Some of them chafe the back of my ears. And some of them blocks so much are it is actually difficult to breathe. This mask solved all of those problems and at the same time made me look extremely dangerous, even in pink. My wife loves it when we walk to the post office or walk the dog and I hum Star Wars themed music as my breath causes the mask to make a Darth Vader noise. Of course, I only do that when we're walking by other people so that they will keep their distance from us. The only downside is that the mask does get extremely warm inside.

Works great for blocking fine dust particles and chemical fumes. The very still plastic can sometimes lead to pressure injuries with red (but unbroken), sensitive skin across the nose bridge and tenderness in other less bony areas. Worth it to protect our lungs!
