Absolute gem. Covers fundamental ML topics.

The original book (without Indian adaptation) is in reading friendly format.This Adaptation version has lots of jammed up text which is not learner friendly and difficult for revisions. The poor presentation of material gave a headache. The layout, spacing and indentation is very poor in Indian adaptation version making a math and theory heavy subject like this, difficult to read. The name of Indian author and details are mentioned in attached image.Furthermore, font size must also be increased for better readability

This book is very good for studying pattern recognition. This is same as the classic Pattern classification by Duda, Stork except for some few topics cut from every chapter which are not that much significant. Print quality is great for the pricing too but the font is just too small.
