Yes, I use it in my home printer to make thank you cards for my small business.

Do you know if this is the same or very similar to the linen paper sold at hobby lobby? paper studio brand.

I do not know but it is very nice paper exuding a classy touch.

Are these as thick as postcards?

The cardstock is 80lb cover which comes out to 9.5pt or 0.13 of an inch similar to postcard thickness.

Actually fading has more to do with quality of ink used & also how it reacts to types of paper in general. To be fair to the pocket book the paper the other person mentioned Hahnemule Fine Art is very very very expensive & there are as good as but less expensive. I have 12 - 22 year old prints that have not faded that are exposed to light year round that have held up to not fading. And also several printed only 1-5 years ago that have faded badly. The oldest ones were printed on an old HP color inkjet nothing special and an Alps no longer made printers. Sadly I sold the Alps 10 years ago for more than I bought them for they are highly sought after for decal making and they would print with white and metalics via printer tape. Anyway I also have beautiful photo images via an EpsonR2000 pigment ink priinter that's amazing still after 12 years. For photo prints I always use photo paper period. A linen textured cardstock for RESUME cover purposes IS not the choice I would make for ART or Graphic and never photo work no matter the printer used or ink used. Toner verses alcohol verses pigments and so forth. First how great is your printer of choice. Second what are you printing? And if it's to be hung for years then chose a photo or photo and art quality paper acid free of course but most are lignant and acid free these days. You should choose a smooth semi to glossy paper. But one that is made for your printer so no laser papers in an inkjet printer ever. I do cheat with this as I make 17-19" x 11-14" calendars using a smooth light weight cardstock super smooth coated for a full year. They will smudge so takes up to 2 days to dry to non smear state using over the years two over sized inkjets one pigment one not pigment inks. And they hold up as I save them each year in a folder. One of my new favorite papers for color graphics and general photo work that holds up amazingly well is the double sided photo paper sold here on Amazon. I forget their name. But do not choose matte double sided photo paper as it often has a coating that can rub off onto your printer rollers which leads to misery and a lot of difficult cleaning. Stay with glossy or semigloss or satins. I would favor in your case a super white satin photo paper and then of course pair it with a great photo quality printer inkjet or laser. Also think about laminating with a UV laminate cover and or laying over the frame a non touching clear but UV blocking acrylic plate that is held away from the print by a matte. This works well for really top art work & helps it last. Epson inks are known for long lasting but not all. I'm using a cannon inkjet and an OLDER modely but brandnew inkjet these days. Many new inkjets are difficult to work with for cardstock or heavy papers. I need less fussy machines.
