Q: What are the main differences of the pt-e550w vs pt-e500 models?

The E550 has the half-cut feature which allows easier peeling, the E500 does not. Also, the E500 can only print as short as 0.9" which can add extra unwanted label space on one side of the label. If you're label is 0.9", the E500 won't auto-center. The E550 will cut below that, leaving a perfectly balanced label.

Q: I figured out how to print several general labels at a time but can't figure out how to do it with cable wraps. Can you print a few per print?

Q: How close does it trim the labels? Does it leave a lot of blank space to the left and right of the text or can you adjust the trim length?

It wastes a little piece at start of label, but cuts it automatically. You can adjust the length and center the label. It will cut both beginning and end for you... wasting a little piece at beginning of each cut/print.
