So much fun, lots of strategy
This game is great! It is quick, fun, and challenging. It’s the perfect size to keep in my purse and pull out randomly when you have a half hour to burn.We played it with 4 people and with 2 people both were fun. I purchased a second deck so we can play with up to 8 people =)It looks like there are a bunch of different versions of the full Catan game, they look really cool and I wish they had different versions for this quick card version. I could play games all day but those playing with me seem more willing to play more short games here and there than play the other long version. My other favorite game kind of similar (a quick version of a larger game that is fun but challenging enough for 30 year olds) is Monopoly Deal. Same thing; to play more than 4 people you buy a second deck. Check it out!My friends who have played Catan liked this version and those of us playing for the first time did as well. I definitely recommend this game for your collection.

Enjoyable and easy
Love this game for a quick setup game and when there isn't a lot of space to play. The CATAN world comes out in this game. Simple to learn and fun, fun, fun.

Might be challenging for new players.
This looks to be a fun game akin to the original Catan game using only cards.Though I’m familiar with that game, I found this one fairly difficult to introduce to players who didn’t already know the base game. The Road and Knight cards seem rather sparse - especially for the two-player game, requiring players to “steal” to get more than 2 roads each. I’m sure the designers have a reason for this, but still, seems a little counter-productive and makes the play more cutthroat than it needs to be. Especially if you’re trying to get new players involved.

Great as a travel version of Catan
My family loves playing Catan. We used this card game as a travel version. It is much shorter, doesn’t require a lot of set up time but still resembles the main game. My kids love it!

Simple and fun, I recommend!
I've played this game 2 player, and it was super fun! We have the Catan board game, and honestly I think I prefer this to the original. It's easy to set up, easy to play, small and quick. I really enjoyed it. It involves strategy and of course competition. For the price, you cannot beat it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good 2 player game, seems also fun for bigger group too!

Similar to Classic Catan, but Portable
Game play is relatively similar to the classic Catan board game. I love the portability of this game and it was great to take along on our backpacking trip. If you like Catan, you'll love this variation on the game!

So much fun!
We love Catan, but don’t always have the time for a whole game, this can be played in less time. Also, we love that we can play with 2 players unlike the board game. It has some new rules, but relatively easy to learn, whether or not you’re familiar with the original board game.
