SHW Mission 40-Inch Home Office Computer Desk, Espresso

It is a nice desk. The price was excellent. It isn’t the most expensive desk and it doesn’t have storage, but it was super easy to assemble and it was exactly what I was looking for. Does it have an amazing wood top that I will pass down for generations to come? Nope, but it is sturdy with a full metal frame, the top “wood” looks nice enough, it will make my life easier and holds a large monitor and my laptop side by side with plenty of workspace still there (I had been crammed on to a desk that was a built-in with bookshelves that were designed before home computers so it didn’t really accommodate a home office space—that area now works as my credenza.) If you need a simple desk, this is a great option.

This little desk has really enhanced my work from home life. I wanted something not too big but not too small. This is the perfect size for all of my needs. It’s modern and sleek. It was super easy to assemble, took me about 15 minutes. The quality is pretty standard but for the price you really can’t beat it. It looks great and functions well for my needs.

I just got this desk today, so this isn't any kind of long-term review. Might update after a few months. Here's what I've gathered from my initial use:Pros:1. Was very easy to assemble. It's just six screws, four metal pieces, the top piece, and the little "wire hole thingies" that go into the desk. Took me ten minutes to unpack and put together, and you don't even need a screwdriver because it comes with an allen wrench.2. Looks nice. I got the 55inch in cherry. The top looks very pretty, and overall the desk is very nice to look at.3. Plenty of space. Wanted a desk that was more than 19in deep like my last one so that I could keep my 27" monitor from being right up in my face. Also gives enough leg room that I can also put storage underneath.4. I was worried about getting wires through the little hole, but that piece is actually three pieces that snap together and apart pretty easy.5. Good height. My last desk was kind of short (and I'm only 5'3, so that says something).6. Fairly sturdy, too. If you push on it the metal might make some slight squeaks, but it's not bad enough to be a bother I don't think.Cons:1. Top seems like it might be prone to easily staining or scratching. I had a book with.. something (idk what, probably dirt) stuck to the bottom (it's a used college book) and the desk scratched when I moved it across it. Was kind of disappointing for it to scratch so soon. As for staining, my fingerprints are causing a small stain left behind whenever I touch the desk. But maybe that's normal, I have no idea. Either way, I'll be getting a large mouse pad to help deal with these issues.2. Measurements seemingly wrong. The desk assembled fine, but one of the 6 screws I couldn't use because no matter how I moved the top, it wouldn't line up to be screwed in. It doesn't seem to impact anything, but I thought I should note this.So far, 4/5

This desk was the EASIEST assembly I've ever had for a delivered piece of furniture. It was only TWO steps- amazing! It has great stability as it is made out of metal and sturdy wood on top. Value for money is top notch.

This table was perfect for my needs, seems sturdy and super easy to put together! Literally almost as long to take parts out of the box than to put it together! 10 minutes with cleanup.

Just as described and pictured. Fit perfectly. The size is perfect and came with all the parts. Easy to put together and is very stable for the price. It's comfortable to sit at and very easy to move. Just for the stability, it's worth every penny.
