Please do not make the same mistake as me and believe other reviews that this card firs in a steam deck - it does not! The dimensions make it too long. 1. The SSD will not lie flat as it is too big 2. You cannot screw it in place as required 3. It foil sleeve does not fit 4. The large heatshield will not lie flat, you cannot get the last screw in 5. Thermal pads on the heatshield are rendered ineffective 6. The deck case will not close perfectly, there will be some movement. Can't stress this enough - good SSD, good price, BUT NOT FOR STEAM DECK!

Lo compré e instalé en una Steam Deck para sustituir la memoria de 64gb y funciona a la perfeción. Si bien es cierto que la medida no es la correcta y no se puede atornillar, una vez colocada de nuevo la placa metálica que cubre los componentes se sujeta y funciona sin ningún problema (Hay varios vídeos en YouTube con el paso a paso usando ésta memoria). Estando a mitad de precio que las unidades 2230 de la misma capacidad, ni te lo pienses. El rendimiento es espectacular, y la capacidad te da de sobra para particionarlo e instalar Windows junto a SteamOs.

write speed on macbook 2017 is 1700 and reading speed is 2100 this speed depends on your adapter also i hope i found better adapter also. product is very nice packing and looks very nice just price still little high i used wd same 1tb speed was little lower than this but price is much cheaper

First when rebooting mac A1708 the message "your computer was restarted because of a problem" appeared, now most times the "question folder" appears, tried 2 adapters without any change, tried the original apple ssd and the mac works perfectly fine.
