These are beautiful. Colors are realistic. Unique appearance. I got another set in case the racoon or wind take it away. Well made, no treads or anything sticking out, soft. The hanging string seems thin but I imagine it is strong. I recommend these because of the unique design and colors.

Cool fish/wind socks . They've been up outside for a very long while in the Az. summer sun and haven't faded very much at all , the cotton string failed a short time after hanging so I replaced with fishing line and still going strong . A swivel hook is a good addition for sure . I give these an A+

I bought these to hang up with larger Japanese carp flags for my outdoor patio/pool area. I kept six and am giving the other 4 away as a gift. The fish are made of a silky nylon fabric and are brightly printed. There isn't a lot of difference in a couple of the blue fish, more of a reverse of the colors on one fish printed on another. The only negative was the flimsy, thin cotton strings to hang them up with. One side of the string came apart from one of the fish only a few days after they arrived and were hung up, though luckily he landed in the pool and could be retrieved. I ended up removing the strings from all the fish and replaced it with white button/craft thread, knotting each side end tightly. The button/craft thread is just hefty enough to keep from twisting together on itself but allow the fish to flutter in the wind. All the fish are hung from dual clip spinners (also bought on Amazon) so they would spin more in the wind. The string the fish come with is fine for indoors or a limited run outdoors, but I knew it wouldn't survive the desert heat and monsoons which is why I replaced it sooner rather than later. I felt they were fairly priced for what they are, even if I had to replace the hanging strings.

We liked the bright colors and hoe well these are constructed.

I am an artist who is part of a yearly weekend long studio art tour. Part of the tour involves placing directional signage along roadways so that attendees can find my location (there are around 24 studio stops including mine). Over the years I have added things to make the approach to my studio more inviting, and this year I wanted to add some motion to each off roadway signs. These Asian-style fish windsock are fantastic as they are small (14" long not including the ties), lightweight, yet durable looking, and come in ten different colors. My only concern was the 'mouths' of each sock were flattened for shipping, so it was a simple matter of 'rounding' the mouths out by carefully shaping them. It seems as if the mouths are made of a wider plastic insert wrapped by the colorfast fabric, yet I was able to shape them without breaking these plastic inner rings. The only thing I bought and added were swivels (bought at a fishing supply store), so that when they move in the wind, they will spin and not get tangled or bound. And the seller I used shipped them lightening fast and earlier than I had expected. They should be a great moving element when I add them to my directional signage.

Vibrant colors and reasonably sturdy

I should not have succumbed to the idea of bargain wind socks. Very flimsy and no swivel hooks. They aren't bad for the price (which is why I gave them three stars) but not really good for anything but party decor.
