Possible depending on how tall they need to be. They work perfect with Starbucks cups.

Just cut them with any serrated knife and use a lighter on the edges to smooth out and get rid of any flakes that occur during cutting

They are better for cold but could be used for hot liquid. I imagine plastic is not the best for hot drinks.
