what is the rated amps for the 110v 2.2kw spindle? is 20 amps correct? It is hard to find documentation on this product.

My 110 Volt, 2.2KW Motor is stamped 8.5 Amps on the housing.

After connecting the spindle to the vfd i am getting the error code eord. what causes that and how do i correct that?

not sure of that error code , make sure the vfd parameters are correct - if you can find another spindle to check against that may tell you if it is the vfd or the spindle good luck, you need to be part detective on these things

Fred, thats voltage. The current on my 110v 2.2KW 400mhz spindle is set at 7amps in the VFD. It was a factory setting, but was also listed in the guide book that came with the kit.

May i use my hy01d511b vfd(running a 65mm spindle) for this 80mm spindle?

I believe so. Your basically just going to an 80mm spindle with more power. The VFD will just tell it what speed to go to.
