This chain and shackles seems well-made. I'm using it to hold a dock in salt water, hope to get 10 years out of it. Galvanized chain only lasts 2 years. The chain itself is a fairly long-link design, which is good for my purpose because I can hook a shackle into an intermediate link, but it wouldn't work in a windlass.

Out of the box appears to be a well made stainless steel anchor chain. I ordered the 4 ft 5/16" chain.

Works great with anchor

I think the anti-off shackles are definitely gonna save somebody a lost anchor and/or chain. My first anchor rode had normal shackles so I tightened them down a lot to avoid one backing off when anchored or retrieving. This is a simple addition but a good one. This was originally going to be for my backup anchor setup, but I think it is a better idea to promote it to primary.

Sturdy chain. It has a great finish with locking threaded pins that won’t back out due to the O ring design. Happy with it!
