Fizzion Pet Stain and Odor Remover 23 ounce Empty Spray Bottle with 2 Refills

This stuff is convenient and reasonable in the pricing area! I have 5 indoor cats and yes I know that's really nor normal, but they are all rescue and came to us under various circumstances which is really not relevant to the review. Problem with multiple cats is that they get territorial. I did NOT have a cat spray problem until a one fateful day a stray came in an open back door and sprayed the foul smelling tom cat odor. He was chased off but something clicked in three of the indoor cats (one male and two females) and they began to spray, everywhere and everything. Couches, rugs, curtains what have you. We tired the "other" stuff, you know, red bottle? And it does a fair job, but I don't like the smell and it is expensive. The spraying has calmed down some, but with any upset it begins anew. I ran across this stuff after watching "My Cat from Hell" TV show and gave it a try. Works very well, removes the odor, stain and if you buy the tables in quantity they are reasonable. Some complain of the smell, but I don't understand that. I barely get any scent and then only a light floral thing. I can't be sure, but my cats seem to "over spray" my spray less than the other stuff. The spraying is a problem I did not have until I got more than two cats. All the cats get along and they are spayed/neutered and chipped yet retain the primal instinct to "mark" their territory or possessions. I have had cats for over 40 years and even tried breeding Blue Point Siamese for fun and profit! I should tell you, DON'T try that as it is way more trouble than profit!! So now I just enjoy the cats as the amazing animals they are. Fizzion Stain remover works, dumb name, good product.

THE PRODUCT: As suckers for strays, over the years we've accumulated eight cats rescued from area raccoons and coyotes; all are indoors. The first seven were angels, with never even one potty accident in 18 years. The last one we brought in two months ago changed the dynamics of the home (critical mass?), and we dealt with urine issues almost daily, on the carpet and on a loveseat. I cried for days and was ready for Prozac. We heard about Fizzion on "My Cat From Hell", and figured that it couldn't hurt to give it a try. We were skeptical. We ordered two Fizzion items: 1. Fizzion 23oz Empty Spray Bottle with 2 Refills 2. Fizzion Concentrated Cleaner Refill Tablets, 8-Pack First, with the spray bottle we "spotted" a couple of dried urine stains just to test it. Sprayed it on, squished it into the carpet with our fingers (with rubber gloves), watched as it began to disappear like magic, and waited a few minutes. We plugged in our Bissell Little Green thingie and sucked up the liquid. Then we sprayed on more Fizzion, let it set for a while, and sucked that up. No stain. No smell. Then to the loveseat. Sprayed the disgusting area, waited, used Bissell, and repeated. Again, no stain and no smell. Last, we used the Refill Tablets in our rug shampooer to clean all of our carpeting, and were thrilled with the results! It looked beautiful, and the house smelled clean and fresh instead of the funky odor we'd dealt with for several weeks. Knowing that this is available helps us feel not so hopeless about the condition of our home. We just placed another order for tablets, and will see if this is a "Subscribe And Save" item on Amazon. INSTRUCTIONS AND PRODUCT FULFILLMENT: Instead of the "Fizzion 23oz Empty Spray Bottle with 2 Refills" we ordered, we received Fizzion 23-oz. FULL spray bottle (of unknown liquid) with only 1 refill (tablet). Since the bottle was supposed to have been empty, and all online comments say they received an empty bottle, we weren't sure if there was water in the bottle, if there was pre-mixed Fizzion, or if it had been mixed by a prior customer, returned, and re-sold. We smelled it, then used it, and it cleaned well. When the bottle was empty we followed the directions on the bottle, mixing 23 oz. of water with the one tablet shipped with the bottle. The resulting mixture didn't seem to clean as well as the first mixture; it seemed to be a little on the weak side, without the total eradication of cat urine odor. I checked the Fizzion website directions and they say to "(1) Fill up your FiZZiON spray bottle with warm water"; and then (2) "Add 1 or 2 tablets, depending on amount of FiZZiON desired (one tablet per 16oz)". If that's so (1 tablet per 16 oz.), then it makes sense that the one tablet in 23 oz. of water would be weak.

When we adopted a new kitten last year, she was very tiny and very skittish and took a while getting used to her litter boxes. She had several accidents around the house, but mostly on our bedding (now I know to always invest in a mattress protector). When I decided to start searching for a good cleaner, I knew I had to stick to a CO2 based cleaner, as that is what cat experts recommend. This stuff is truly amazing. If the spot is recent, it works the first time. But, you can follow treatment up to as many times as you feel comfortable. I know I liked to do about two treatments if the stain had been there a while (usually I would find spots after coming home from work after several hours). The formula doesn't cause colors to run on anything I've sprayed it on. It is probably the biggest contributing factor to weaning my kitten off peeing on bedding and blankets. It also has a nice, clean fresh smell that does not allude to the odor I just used it on. I used it like the instructions say to use it with no help from a carpet cleaning vacuum (just a regular dyson vacuum). I use rag/utility towels for the cleaning process. The other day I found an incredibly old stain on my mattress protector (don't know how I missed it; it must have been there for almost a year). It took about 4-5 treatments all in a row, but slowly but surely, the stain did lift and now it's gone. Can't say enough good things about it; will continue to buy it forever as needed.

I have a cat that sometimes get bladder crystals, which leads to him urinating anywhere but the litter box. I like that this does not have a heavy scent like some other products. I don't think this is a miracle product that removes all of the odor, but it does a good job at getting most of it. On humid days, I notice the urine smell creeping back so then I go back and clean the area and give it another good spray of Fizzion. I don't take a black light looking for leftover traces, I just don't have the time or desire to do that on an easily replaceable rug. I think the price is ok, it is easy to mix (just drop the tablet in the bottle mostly filled with water), and does a decent job cleaning up the mess. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a lingering perfume-y smell left in the house.

猫と犬を飼っています…可愛い子たちですが、たまのお漏らし…困っていて色々買ってきました。とくに冬の掛け布団にされると匂いがなかなか取れなくてこまります。これが今のところ1番においが薄れます。それがありがたいです。

ワンちゃんのおトイレ消臭で購入しました。いままでは市販のファ○○ー○などを使用していましたが、今一つ臭いが取れなく粒の消臭剤を置いていました。今回こちらを使用して一発でトイレ臭が解消です。これからリピートすると思います
