Auto Car Leather Gear Shift Knob Cover for Ford EcoSport Escape/Fusion/C-Max Energi Wagon/Fiesta/Focus/Transit Accessories

This cover fit my 214 Escape perfectly. Highly suggest putting parking brake on, turn on ignition and place gear shift into S position to provide plenty of room to stitch. The thread is waxed so need to tighten or position until you have completely threaded all holes. Very simple to install.

I really like this gear shift knob cover. Once I figured out that the engine needed to be in drive, it went on easily and looks great! It’s a huge improvement over the original one which, after 10 years, has become sticky which doesn’t clean off.

It fit very well on shift.

Out of the bag it was too small for the shifter by quite a bit (13 Fusion). Description does say Genuine leather, so I sprayed it down with Isopropyl alcohol and water to give it some stretch; watched a Youtube video on how to stretch leather. After a few minutes it became very stretchy and I was able to place it over the shifter and take my time stitching it together. I let it dry on the shifter. The hole for the shift switch is still a smidge off, but not bad. Overall it looks good. Does make the shifter a bit larger. The overall feel in the hand is pretty good. I'm satisfied.

A little but of a pain to put on but its worth it.

I thought that it would be complicated when using the sewing. They should make one that you sew in the front instead of the back. But it’s easy to sew it when you put the car emergency brakes on, to let the clutch down, then sew. However, it was easy, the bottom fits in, and I would recommend this. The needle and thread that comes in the package is big, so it’s easy to use. I like this product!

I purchased this for my 2017 Titanium Escape. It is supposed to be for that, however, it has a large hole on the left side. I assume that is for a button of some kind, but the knob in my car does not have one. So, it looks kind of awkward on the knob.
