Healing rock climber's hands
After years of using a combination of aloe/shea-based moisturizer and climb-on climbing salve and still constantly suffering from dry, painful, and glassy skin - I decided to give this a try. It's been life changing. It absorbs quickly, softens (but not overly) my skin, and doesn't leave any kind of tacky feeling. It's provided almost instant relief of any pain or glassiness that I've felt and I love this stuff! All that said, I don't use this every day. I do not apply this moisturizer the night before and the day of climbing sessions. I find that it makes chalk stick less, leaves just a slight feeling of greasiness, and overall harder to stay on the wall.Overall 5/5 and would absolutely recommend adding this to climber's skincare routine.

My best hand cream for winter
I used to use the silicone based hand creams (such as Glysomed and Avon) to help my cracked, bleeding hands. They worked very well, but I had to apply them quite often sometimes. I read about Burt's Bees Ultimate so I ordered some. It has a pleasant odor (to me), isn't too greasy, and leaves my hands soft. So far this winter, I've only had to use this once or twice a day and my hands have been crack free. A little goes a long way for me, the tube I bought in late October still has a lot left in it. If you're a long time sufferer of dry, cracked, and bleeding hands, I'd give Burt's Bees Ultimate Hand Cream a try. But "bee" sure you get the Ultimate version...Burt's makes several other hand creams.Edit 1/25/19: A few days ago, hands began to crack in a few places. Used some Polysporin in addition to Burt's and the cracks healed in 2 days.

Love this stuff
I was getting really dry hands from using hand sanitizer all the time and washing my hands frequently. I put this on at night soon after I got it in the mail, and it ended up fixing the irritation and dryness I had literally overnight. I think I've used it twice since I got it because I really don't need to use it more often than that because the effects are that long-lasting. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for something they can use at night to repair any dryness they get from using their hands all day. (Be careful of ingredients if you're sensitive/allergic to any of them... wanted to send some to my friend who has dry hands too, but she's allergic to lavender, which is an ingredient, unfortunately for her.)

Not What I Expected
It’s weird, the reviews and product description promise that there’s not a slick, oily, kind of sticky consistency but for me that’s definitely the case! Even a small pea-sized amount was just too oily and sticky for me. The lotion also kind of smells like sunscreen lotion so I really was put off by this product. It IS moisturizing and I do love the brand, but I was really disappointed. I always read reviews before I purchase things and I’m on a whole different page than everyone else. I bought two bottles so I know I didn’t happen upon a dud. Weird. Other than the sticky consistency that lasts for several minutes to a few hours, this is a good hand cream. I just don’t recommend using it several times a day. Before bed is a good idea. And you can definitely use it on your arms or legs!

Immediate results, non-irritating
This is the second time I've started using this regularly (I ran out months ago and put off buying more) and both times I've noticed immediate improvement in my skin- fewer cracks and softer to the touch. It even helps the soles of my feet!I have pretty sensitive skin and other lotions sometimes give me red bumps, or even a burning sensation when my skin is particularly dry. But I've never had any negative reaction to Burt's Bees products. The scent is not overwhelming, but it is pretty distinctive when you first apply it (I enjoy the scent). After a few minutes it fades to a very subtle scent that's pretty typical for lotions.

Best. Cream. Ever.
I wish this came in a larger size. For decades I've been using expensive face cream from the beauty counter: $40/1.5 oz.. I bought this for my hands, and ended up using on my (dry) face. I expected a heavily moisturizing cream might cause me to break out, clog pores, or something of that nature. Instead, my skin looks gorgeous. Zero breakouts, does not clog my pores. Both my hands, and my face. Make up goes easily over this product. My wife started using it on her hands and arms, and it cleared up her tendency to "age" bruise. Now our grandson can leap, kick, and twist with aplomb, and she won't be covered in red and purple welts. I like knowing the ingredients are safe for our bodies, and love not spending a fortune. I'm allergic to fragrance. This cream has a pleasant smell, but it's the odor of the ingredients, not a masking or added fragrance. And trust me, my body would know!

One of the best products Burts makes.
Price has risen substantially, but product is worth the price if you can find it.

Immediate relief!
I’ve been using this product for about a year now; it’s my go-to whenever my hands are dry.The backs of my hands become painfully dry and cracked during the colder months, but this lotion immediately moisturizes and provides relief. I also use it on my palms to soften callouses I get from gymming.Smells fine and doesn’t leave any sticky residue.
