We provided dinner to 18 college students. We used these bowls for hot soup, (they held up very well) along with solid white heavy plastic disposable plates. They matched the silver plastic utensils beautifully. The table looked so great and clean up was soooo easy as a result.

If you like to entertain, this is great for a holiday party or other event. However do not plan on saving these plates and they cannot be used in the microwave. Buyer beware.

Design and look of plates were great but they were too thin and flexible. Not sturdy and worth the money

Served a purpose and the cup holder is a nice touch. I put little heart on them.

Although more than I wanted to pay the plates are stylish & sturdy. The plates were perfect for the party.

We recently hosted a dinner for prom & used both the full sized and salad sized plates. They definitely brought the table ware to a new level. The kids loved it & they held up really well. My only complaint is quite a few of the plates came with cracks in them so we were unable to use them. Luckily I ordered extra. The salad plates were shipped in an envelope which I am sure contributed to the cracks. The dinner plates came in a box and only a few of them had cracks.I thought we'd be able to use them again because of how durable and nice they are, but when we washed them after the dinner, the silver came off around the edges.I would still order them again. They really added some elegance to our outdoor dinner.

I ordered these plates for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Thankfully, I read earlier reviews that mentioned it would be a good idea to order extra due to the fact that they had received several that were cracked and unusable. They are beautiful plates and are strong enough to be very functional for a nice dinner. They make a beautiful place setting possible on a budget. The only problem with these plates is the packaging. I ordered two packages of 50 along with napkins and gold disposable forks, spoons and knives (which looked beautiful together). Unfortunately, they were just thrown in a box together with no padding of any kind and the first 10 plates in one of the packages were cracked and unusable as well as several of the plastic spoons and forks. I basically had to order an additional 50 plates to ensure having the 50 plates I needed for our rehearsal dinner. Amazon needs to do a more careful job packaging these.

These plates are very beautiful. However, I am disappointed that they have changed them. The plate on the right in each picture, is the old design. When I clicked purchase again, I received the plates pictured on the left. I think the old design and colors were more elegant. Therefore, I only gave them 4 stars because they weren’t what I was expecting.

they are very pretty - they are durable- look like the real thing - but the silver rim means you can't put in microwave - you will see sparks if you do - good value for money

The media could not be loaded.  Love the quality of it and it was a great touch to my baby shower decor..

We used these at a party and at first glance, everyone thought the plates were real dinnerware. They do not look like compostable paper plates, they are very sturdy and believe it or not, very elegant looking. Someone even mentioned that we should wash them and reuse them that is how sturdy they were. I would buy these again and again.

Very flimsy and lots were cracked when I opened the packages. They refunded me my money.

small food , such as quinoa & rice falls through the lacey part onto the table. i wish the plate was solid.
