I wouldn't have given this 5 stars if it didn't deserve it. I have otosclerosis and an going to probably get surgery to correct it. But in the meantime would like to hear. So didn't want to spend thousands. Luckily with these I didn't have to. I use them at work to hear my students and they succeed in that. Noise cancellation works well. I can hear much better. A bit uncomfortable after a while. Makes my ears tickle. Feedback isn't an issue. Awesome volume control. This was a good purchase and I was very skeptical. One of them survived being in the laundry, washer and dryer, so they're tough.

They do a good job; volume control is a little hard to adjust.The biggest problem is the size, its double the size of other hearing aids of the same type.

So far so good. My mom started to wear these about 2 days ago. It was easy to set up. I’m going to get a backup as well just in case. My mom has dementia and is hard of hearing. I bought a pocket hearing aid and it worked for a while until it broke down. Just recently I bought these bc of the reviews and price. She can hear her caregivers and she seems in a better mood. So far so good.I’m going to update this review. Wow these are no good first it has a loud ringing after a few days.Than they stop working. I thought it was the first pair so I returned it and order another pair and same with this one. I just requested a return for the se one pair.

Lost my top-of-the-line hearing aid and while it would take some time to replace I picked up these just before going on vacation. They work as I can hear well enough to converse but background noise was way beyond acceptable. They say to wear them for a few weeks to help disregard background noise. Nope! I wore them everyday for nearly 3 weeks and it didn't change much. Impact sounds are the worst. A Truck, Ambulance driving by. Putting plates away in a cabinet - really? Yes, and God forbid anyone drops something or even claps near you and it's like your head will explode. And I have it set BELOW #1of 5.The battery time is very good - recharge it when necessary. It's rather large and uncomfortable if you wear glasses and a stupid mask. However, it does work and does what you need and when things get too loud I found that just pushing it deep into my ear kind of mutes loud noises as those ambulances drive by.

My grandma needed just one hearing aid. My grandpa need just one hearing aid. They went to local store and came over telling me they would be charged 1200. I looked on Amazon for the specifications they wanted. (Tannish, over ear, adjustable sound) and these fit all the bills as well as rechargeable. I bought these for 76$ for them instead of them spending 1200. They love them they work great! They both needed one in opposite ears so one set was perfect for both of them. I no longer have to yell or talk loud for them to hear me and they appreciate all the money saved. Definitely get these for your hard of hearing folks!

UPDATE: It's been almost a year now and these are still working but I'm getting real tired of not being able to adjust the volume without removing them from my ears. The mode button just provides continuous beeping so there is no way to tell what mode you are in. I'm now using them as a backup to another hearing aid pair.UPDATE: It's now five months of use. The description indicates that the charging light blinks when charging and goes solid green when charged. This pair gives a "needs charging tone" and when I plug it in the light is solid even though the battery is out of power, not blinking. As the battery losses power I have to keep increasing the volume or it gets too low to hear adequately. I will give them credit for noise cancelling which is above par; however, the noise cancelling can also interfere when the speaker is next to you rather than in front, I need to turn my head toward the person to them.I would suggest an improvement would be to include a Bluetooth chip and a phone app for volume control and frequency adjustment. I am now searching such a pair as manually setting these two items is a pain. If you don't mind the short battery life and having to remove the devices from your ear to adjust the volume than these are may meet your needs.UPDATE: After two weeks I have made friends with these aids. Have gotten the mode and volume figured out. The aids have to be charged every two days, I only get about 20-25 hours of use before they need recharging. Have down graded to 2 stars due to short battery life.UPDATE: I have worn these for a couple of days now. Still cannot determine which "mode" it is in. Still very loud at the lowest volume and high frequency sounds sound more like squeal that distorts the lower frequency sounds. "Mode" button just gives a sequence of beeps with no indication as to which mode it is in, very frustrating.The volume control is small and difficult to move, you need to use your fingernail to move it. Additionally, I set it to the lowest volume and it is still way too loud. There are no instructions as to what the "mode" control does, it does seem to have three settings but no idea what they do due to lack of documentation. The markings on the unit are unreadable - volume and off/on switch. These were definitely designed for people with sever hearing loss, not for mild to moderate loss as the description indicates.

It works great

I bought these for my Father. After so many hearing aids that didn't work, these were amazing. My father used to turn the volume on the television upto 50 and now he can turn it down to 22 and hears every word. He has the volume only on 1 and can hear perfectly. He said he can even hear his own voice. Before he could not hear his voice. He can hear a fork drop and even the pots and pans clanging he can't believe how loud they are. It is a miracle. He is so so thrilled. We are so so happy. And the customer service is amazing too. My Mom called and they were so patient to help her find the serial number. THANK YOU SO MUCH? It is like a miracle.
