No funny stuff. Just chicken
Yes, it's just chicken. No fillers, no starches, no BHT or MSG or anything like that. It's really good.

Tastes great. Have reordered a lot over the years
I have purchased this brand of organic chicken many times over the years at Whole Foods. It never disappoints. Fast shipping .

My first try of canned roasted chicken
This is a first for me, canned roasted chicken. It's very good directly out of the can. It tastes like I cooked it myself and that surprised me, minus the seasoning's I use on my baked roasted chicken breast. I got the no sodium one of this version also (no sodium foods I prefer). This is very good and has a great taste. It would be good for quick bite and to add to another dish like salad, quinoa, cucumber or just out of the can. This is a very good product I highly recommend it.

Good
Very happy to have salt free organic canned chicken. It is very expensive. And the can is not full like the picture above. It was more like 2/3 full after you drained the water or broth. It tastes fine. It has no seasoning so out of the can you can tell it’s good quality but you cannot really taste anything. I poured a can of this drained over a Caesar salad and that combined was actually delicious.

Only about 100 grams (4 ounces) meat per can
Our Fur Princess—can't call her "our kitty" because cats have staff, not owners; just ask her—gets the best in high-protein/low calorie diet. She's chosen to be indoor-only , I guess because she spent her earlier life beneath a dumpster nursing six kittens no whatever she could scrounge. Even the best quality kibble has too many calories for the amount of protein available. Our vet says healthy young cats need at least 20 grams of protein daily. Trying to attain that with kibble would make her obese with its attendant health risks. As a result of research and consulting our vet, I decided to feed her 36 grams/day of Fresh Pet moist kibble and 72 grams/day quality canned meats, including Wild Planet chicken breast. She gets her protein and keeps her waistline. My excellent Etekcity scale (from Amazon) is very accurate: I've calibrated it using an official 50 gram weight and it's spot on. As a result, I've been tracking daily amounts from each can of protein: Wild Planet chicken breast provides between 95 and 108 grams of meat per can—about 4 ounces rather than the advertised 5—the rest being water. As other reviewers noted, quality has declined recently, at the same time as the price increased. While this is clean, quality protein, its value is only fair. I'm looking for options.
